Tack så mycket med tanke på The Monkey Barrel för ditt hem när du besöker Nantucket. Vi kallar det här huset "The Monkey Barrel" eftersom allt det roliga, skratt och upptåg som äger rum medan vi är på stranden ... det här huset ibland lyckligt känns som en tunna apor!
Detta är ett nyrenoverat hus med alla bekvämligheter i åtanke inklusive planlagd luftkonditionering och värme hela.
Huvudnivån: Öppet kök med bardisk och vardagsrum med 3D-TV och nya rostfria vitvaror, granit bänkskivor, vardagsrum möbler och trägolv. Två sovrum inkluderar en mästare med en king size-säng och bekväm läshörna, och den andra har två fulla sängar med lyxiga sängkläder. Delat badrum med ny gjutjärnsbadkar och anpassade kakel.
2nd Floor: Mycket stor våt bar med granit och vardagsrum med vin kylskåp, bar kylskåp och vardagsrum möbler. Två sovrum innehåller en drottning säng med lyxiga sängkläder. Delat badrum med ny gjutjärnsbadkar och anpassade kakel.
Lägre nivå: Kitchenette med granit och nya apparater. Två sovrum med vardera två enkelsängar med nya lyxiga sängkläder. Full tvättstuga och utgång till baksidan uteplats. Delat badrum med nytt badkar och dusch.
Utomhus mahogny uteplats med inbyggd Viking kommersiell kvalitet propan grill, utomhusdusch, åtta personer badtunna, och sittplatser för 20 + personer. Backyard staket idealisk för barn och hundar! Bekvämt hus för underhållande stor grupp.
Gott om parkering i husets uppfart för 3 + bilar. En snabb 2 mil cykeltur eller promenad till Surfside stranden och 1 mil till downtown Nantucket på Cykelleden tvärs över gatan från huset! Shuttle busshållplats ett halvt kvarter bort. Bekvämt läge nära stan och stränder, restauranger och shopping.

Amazing house and great location

We just had the most amazing stroll weekend and one of the highlights was our rental, the Monkey Barrel. The location was perfect and everything was a quick Uber ride or walk (to the beach:) away! The home had every amenity and was immaculate and well laid out for our group of 8 women. Beds were super comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck. Kirby was incredibly responsive and would love to rent this house again. Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us. Lisa Q

Perfect for groups or multiple families

Ideal layout for groups or multiple families with bedrooms and bathrooms on each of the three levels. Large and clean house with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Well-maintained fenced-in yard, large driveway, and the hot tub and outdoor kitchen were an added bonus! There’s also a cafe across the street if you need a quick bite.

Family Reunion Weekend

It was first time most of the family had been to Nantucket so the property's central location on the island was perfect as it allowed plenty of choices from heading into town, exploring with bikes (rental shop 5 mins from house) or just grabbing a coffee each morning across the street. Working with Kirby was excellent she was quick to respond with any issues that came up before & during the weekend. Definitely recommend for family gatherings, plenty of space.

We love the Monkey Barrel

My friend and I celebrated our birthday here with a group of 14 and all fit comfortably. The house is very well-kept and in a perfect location. We had a lot of fun at The Muse, and the cafe right across the street has great food and coffee. Kirby was super pleasant and made the whole process easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for a group

I stayed here for a long weekend with a group totaling 8. The house was perfetly split up to accomodate our group size while giving everyone enough space. There was a bathroom for every 2 bedrooms which made it easy for us to get ready before our weekend events We also had a great time in the hot tub! We were able to walk into town during the day when it was bright and sunny (though took a uber/cab at night). The host, Kirby, was extremely responsive even though she was on vacation. We defilitely want to return to this house in the future!

Fabulous Home

We were in town for a family wedding. The Money Barrel was fabulous. We had lots of laughs. It was very clean and exactly as it is presented. Every home should be equipped like this one. It has everything you need. Communications with the owner was great. Kirby was extremely responsive to all of my questions and needs. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again.

The perfect spot on ACK for a large group.

We just had a group of 12 out for my wife’s birthday and the Monkey Barrel was the perfect spot. Clean, centrally located and across the street from a cute little coffee shop we could not have asked for anything more. We split our time between the house, downtown and the Brewery and nothing was more than a five minute ride away. We even walked to town one day in about 20 minutes. Everyone had their own bed, the yard was perfect for being outside and the hot tub was a wonderful touch. The hosts were terrific with communication and so friendly. We would go back in a heartbeat and give the Monkey Barrel a well deserved 5 stars. Thank you so much!!!!

Thanksgiving 2020

We had a great experience renting the Monkey Barrel! We have been coming down for Thanksgiving weekend for several years now and have always gotten a number of hotel rooms but this year we thought we would find a house for an extended (Wednesday-Sunday) stay and the Monkey Barrel worked out perfectly with plenty of beds for everyone and two separate living rooms allowing us to split up and watch multiple things while we hung out killing time. The house also had everything necessary to prepare meals which made the trip a little more convenient rather than eating out each meal. Kirby the owner was responsive, honest and very supportive of everything we needed. Overall - an awesome experience and will definitely look to use the property again in the future! The MacCunes

Amazing Long Weekend on Nantucket!

The Monkey Barrel was the perfect house for a long weekend with a big group of friends. The house was pictured exactly how it is in the post and was very spacious between the three floors and the fenced in outdoors. Having the upstairs wet bar, the grill, and hot tub were all a huge plus for hanging at the home. The house is in a great location with a cute cafe across the street for morning coffee, Stop and Shop a short walk or bike ride down the road, and a few other spots close by (The Muse, Yummy). Communication between the host was quick and accommodating and the house was extremely clean upon arrival. The only caveat I would make is to follow the Welcome Guide and make sure to schedule disposal of your own trash if it exceeds the designated barrel. Costs will be taken out of the deposit if there's an excessive amount. Either way, I would definitely stay at the Monkey Barrel again! Amazing house on island!

Fantastic property for two families to share, 12 adults and 2 children and more than enough room!!

Wonderful property.....only 2 days to enjoy

My family and I planned our trip to Nantucket for my brother's wedding. Unfortunately due to Hurricane Jose and ferry cancellations, our family was only able to enjoy 2 out of the scheduled 4 days at the Monkey Barrel. Kirby, one of the homeowners, was easy to communicate with and dud crefit us for one nights stay, which we were most appreciative of. This home was fully stocked with every type of utensil, appliance, glassware, dishes that you could possibly need for your vacation here. All 6 bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds quite comfortable. The yard was definitely the entertainment spot! Built-in weber grill, refrigerator, ice maker and the cherry on top.....the hot tub! Plenty of seating and plenty of room for lawn games. We will definitely come back to the Monkey Barrel.

Wonderful space for a big family!

The Monkey Barrel was the perfect home for our family get together! Excellent space for the 12 of us (8 adults, 4 children), great deck with hot tub, Viking gas grill, large table with enough chairs, and fenced in yard with great grass. The house has everything you could need, everything! Kirby and Mike are great hosts!

Monkey Barrel

This house is so great! It's a bike ride to Surfside Beach, which is one of the best beaches on the island (snack bar, lifeguards, and surfing waves). It's a bike ride to town as well as to the grocery store. The location couldn't be better. It's clean, and well cared for. Kirby is great to deal with, and provides a detailed over view of the house and the island which I referred back to several times! I hope to come back next summer. Thanks Monkey Barrel..........

Beautiful place very well laid out.

House is absolutely beautiful. Well maintained, clean and very accommodating for larger parties. My group of 13 had a blast and would def rent property again. The owner is super nice and easy to work with also. 5 star for sure on this one.
