“We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which had everything a family could need for brief stops inbetween visiting the surrounding area (including a baby chair and a crib available on request). The only thing was that a radiator made some strange noises now and then (even when switched off).”

“Very nice place to stay we only had a o ernight stay but got a warm welcome from helpful staff the room was spotless and clean with everyrlthibg in working order the bed made for a good nights sleep and the breakfast was well cooked with a full English and continental buffet 5star all day long and will most definitely be staying again ”

“Really good food and service. The rooms are old and the cleaning before I got my room wasn’t the best. Try to stay at the second floor so you don’t have to listen to your upstairs neighbors all night. ”

“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
