âQuick and easy check in and out. Very comfortable beds in a large clean room. Excellent parking and easy access to the town. White a bit of noise from outside but for the rates and everything else about the hotel this is a minor point. The rooms were quite dated but I knew this when booking and it also felt like a very minor point for the stay. Overall had an amazing stay!â
âGreat place, made such a change from regular hotels with personal touches. Room was a great size & included a sofa & small table/chairs.
The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over⊠a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table.
I did eat downstairs within the restaurant on the 1st night which was fab⊠calzone pizza special & cookie dough special were both tasty &...
âWe stayed here for 2 nights when we attended a wedding. Great location with access to shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean with good bathroooms and comfy beds. Breakast was included and it was tasty and fresh. We are vegan and it is the best hotel breakfast we have had. But the thing that elevates it is the staff. So helpful, attentive, and friendly. A great stay.â

The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views.
It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again.

âVery nice welcome and hosts were very helpful. Luxurious room and bathroom. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts with great choice for made to order breakfast. The property sits in large and well laid out grounds. Dinner was also available. Would thoroughly recommend you stay here.â
