“Political stigma aside, I must say, this property is stunning across the board. From the moment you enter the building you're met with this amazingly inviting fragrance. The Room was spotless. All the staff was sincere, kind, hospitable, and surprisingly diverse. Also, The front desk was exceptionally accommodating while I (minimally) "stress tested" the room service. 10/10 would and Will return. Mr. & Mrs.S”

“Quite close to Red Line stop Chicago 5 min walk. Close to plenty diffrent restaurants with walking distance. Only negative was their breakfast service no buffet as you often got on hotels and $27 for some scrabbled eggs, two sausages and fried potatoes. Well it’s even more worth to go to closest Starbucks for a better start for your morning ”

“Extended weekend trip to Chicago. Thompson Chicago has a great location in a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops. But the rooms in the hotel are showing signs of some wear and tear. The restaurant and bar are currently closed for renovation. ”

“Beautiful grounds! And excellent room. I stayed in the lake view room and the views were amazing! Friendly staff from the valet, front desk and room service. Breakfast was good. Perfect omelets. Location is ideal and next to the movies, walgreens. Parking is expensive but you have option for self or valet. The cocktails at the bar are nice. Exact pours tho. So i only had one round. The bar lounge area is inviting. The fire place is a nice touch and set a mood. The ambiance was great. ”
