“We stayed in Nethy Bridge with our three teen-kids, who enjoyed their private rooms in this very spacy house. Everything was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and we loved the fireplace. Nice garden with a river directly behind, and we had a good time in the garage with table-tennis, dart and kicker-table! The location in great for exploring the Cairngorms, we would love to come back!”

“Great place to stay, stayed here quite a few times over the last year or so, has everything you need, always clean and tidy. Never had any issues staying there. Good local amenities all within walking distance.”

“Excellent comfortable home from home, very well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean and it suited us well. Great location just on the outskirts of Aviemore and also good dog walking opportunities. Easily accessible parking, with a nice fenced dog friendly garden and a variety of seating opportunities – we were lucky with the weather and even had breakfast in the garden in March! - we loved our stay.”

“Absolutely magical! Our family of six adults stayed for three nights. When we arrived it was quite hot, but once opening up the windows and doors the heat cleared out nicely. The house has everything you need. We made a day trip to the beach! This wasn’t on our original plan, but there was a heat wave in Scotland! Our second day we drove to Balmoral Castle. “Das Haus ist ideal für eine Großfamilie oder eine Gruppe mit bis zu 12 Personen. Wir waren eine 10-köpfige Gruppe von mehreren Motorradfahrern und Anhang (die nicht alle mitgefahren sind). Es bietet ein schönes großes Wohnzimmer mit gemütlichen Sofas, eine Küche mit allem was man braucht. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Geschirrspüler, Staubsauger etc. und eine schöne Essecke nebst Wintergarten und weiteren Essmöglichkeiten. Lediglich eine Kaffeemaschine um normalen Filterkaffee zu kochen, ist nicht...

“We stayed for three nights while doing a cycling event in Inverness – three adults in total. The place was spotless, and the host gave really clear instructions which made everything easy. A big bonus was having access to the garage to safely store our bikes. The area is absolutely stunning, and we’re already planning to come back, this time with the family.”

“We enjoyed very much our stay at Sneuk Head. The cottage was clean (not spotless 😊, but clean), well equiped, and close to luxury as we were 3 so we had each a bathroom, though "only" 2 showers! On top of this, there are plenty of activities to do nearby, and the house is close to the A9 if you want to go further. The host was very responsive to the various questions we had and always very kind. All in all, we'd be very glad to come back there if we have another opportunity.”

“Fabulous well-located property. Very convenient for exploring Deeside. The large eat-in kitchen had everything we needed to cook and gather together. Plenty private spaces for spreading out and enjoying a little peace and quiet, too. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Communication with Anna was perfect throughout. Highly recommend!”

The setting is amazing and we loved sitting out on the deck or in the hot tub looking over the hills. George was great to deal with and we appreciated the welcome pack! ”

“Great property, clean,well furnished.Very obvious hosts are proud of the house and do their utmost to make guests feel likewise. Our only downgrade - 9.5 out of ten - would be the back garden fence wasn’t dog proof and we had to keep our little Lizzy on the lead .Thanks once again ,Bill and Jean”

“This is a very well equipped, spacious property which was real pleasure to stay in. The garden is well maintained with good outside seating and a BBQ. It is centrally located in Ballater so easy to visit shops and restaurants on foot, close to the golf course and local walks in easy reach. Mark, the host was very welcoming and promptly answered queries. We would stay here again. Great place.”
