“Palmer’s Guest House was clean, cozy, and perfect for two people to stay in. The rustic interiors were lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. Kristin was very accommodating and threw in a complimentary bottle of wine and a voucher to the restaurant. We had the Sunday Brunch and it was a great meal in a beautiful restaurant. We’ll be staying here again next time we’re in San Marcos.”

“House was a bit small, photos are older. Overall cute place, pet friendly and near town. Water level is extremely low and unswimmable due to D3 drought. ”

The location was absolutely ideal and the home was clean and perfect for our girls weekend. “The house itself was very rustic.There were both good and bad. The bed downstairs was comfortable. The place itself looked clean until you moved a piece of furniture and found trash underneath the couch. The yard guys came and cut the grass on the 2nd morning, which was needed. Just something that should have been done beforehand.I can say the check out was easy and pain free. Where the property fell short was in the communication. The first day the toilet, bathroom sink as well as the kitchen...

“The place look like years ago it was great as advertised but not any more. They need to update the pictures and amenities. The patio could be better to enjoy if they update the grill and hammock. Hammock was too dirty with mold that we didn’t even want to touch. Same as the grill. The inside of the house it was ok. Unfortunately we couldn’t use one of the beds because it was full of fire ants and black ants. Imagine if one of daughters was allergic to ants bites as other people? That would it be...

“The place was super cute, clean and host very responsive. We had an issue with the door i sent a text and someone was there within maybe 10 min to fix it. It wasn't a lake view but the lake was very close. As soon as we arrived we saw deer in the back and a coyote we named Roxanne. The kitchen had everything we needed to grill, cook and bake. And if you forget anything thre is a grocery sote 3 minutes away.”
