Uptowner (Safe & Secure)

Huset byggdes ursprungligen år 1902 och beskrivs vidare:
- 5 King Beds (ett i varje sovrum)
- drottning drar ut bäddsoffa
- Kabel-TV i varje sovrum
- Trådlöst internet i hela huset

Detta hus är inställt för att du ska gå och njuta av. Det är inställt för korttidsuthyrning och är idealisk för resande familjer eller grupper av vänner. Fastigheten är ungefär 3.000 s. f. med 5 sovrum och 2 badrum, en privat innergård på baksidan och en veranda för avkoppling. Du kommer att känna att du är en del av New Orleans medan du bor i denna sekelskiftet hemma. Av de 5 sovrummen ligger ett av sovrummen nere, med de andra 4 sovrummen på övervåningen.

Säkerhet och parkering
Huset ligger i ett mycket säkert och säkert grannskap som heter Uptown. Gatan är väldigt bred (bredare än normalt) och ligger tvärs över gatan från en grundskola, så det finns gott om parkering och bra belysning på natten. Detta hus är perfekt för grupper av kvinnor och familjer som letar efter en säker och bekväm plats att bo medan du besöker New Orleans.

Gångavstånd
Huset ligger gångavstånd till den berömda st. Charles Street Car line, som kan ta dig var som helst i staden - inklusive centrum och franska kvarteret. Även om det är snabbare för Uber, rekommenderar jag starkt att ta gatan bil minst en gång medan du är i stan. Huset ligger också gångavstånd till kaffe och börjar (hörnet av St. Charles & Milan), liksom gångavstånd till många restauranger och dryckesanläggningar längs Freret-korridoren.

O memorable

It was my first time in New Orleans and I enjoyed Bourbon Street as well as canal Street the food was awesome!! The house we stayed in was spacious although there was issues with a lot of the doorknobs as well as a plumbing issue with the upstairs toilet. Yogi, the owner of the property was very nice and took care of the issue right away.

Really Excellent - 1 Suggestion

The host was very accommodating and super responsive. The house was spacious, the beds were really comfortable, the neighborhood was safe. The interior was clean, just a little rough around the edges, but that was totally okay for us. One suggestion would be to get the doorknobs professionally repaired. Other guests had left notes about the same issue and lucky we found a screwdriver in the one drawer, we had to fix several different knobs multiple times. Someone got stuck in the bathroom for about 15-20 mins the one night, that was not fun for her. Other than that one suggestion everything else was really great.

Christmas in NOLA

Nice older home with a fun layout in a real New Orleans neighborhood. This was perfect for our group of 7. Spacicious bedrooms, living room and dining room. Nice functional kitchen with washer/dryer. Comfortable king bebeds. Comfortable furniture.

Suited our needs

Ours was a party of 7. We stayed comfortably in this house and enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood. It was a good base for Tulane graduation and walking to eateries on Feret street. This is not a touristy area so you will Uber to the French quarter and to Tulane. Each room had a King size bed. The house has 2 bathrooms, one on each floor. Each room has a tv. The house has a lot of charm….hardwood floors, tall ceilings, New Orleans decor. The sleeper sofa has been replaced so there is not one that opens up. Bring your own bath soap and shampoo. The place was clean.

Great spot!

Nice, quiet location. Across the street from a school. Short walk from some bars, restaurants, grocery, cafes. Check out The Library bar on Prytania. Had 6 adults in our group and the house was spacious. Host was friendly and communicative. Downsides: door knobs were funky (someone got stuck in bathroom once) and the beds had metal chains as decor, which personally i found if i flipped over it rattled and hit the headboard. Overall we would stay again.

Great stay in N.O.

First off the communication with the host was top notch! The property was huge, it was several of us and no one felt on top of each other. The home was clean and the beds are so comfortable. I thought we would have an issue due to there only being two bathrooms and my girls (grown women), hog the bathrooms, but this was not an issue due to there being several mirrors around the house they could hop in front of an do their make-up. The kitchen has all the cookware you could need to cook a meal, however we ate out or ordered in. Overall a great stay for large groups and small ones for that matter.

Overall the Stay wasn't bad but the Home was infested with Rats All the Door Knobs was broken we went ahead and repaired all the Door Knobs because My Uncle was stuck in The Bathroom for hours The wooden floors are broken at the Front Entrance.The Upper Room Blind wouldn't Release so I and My Husband slept Exposed to the Outside. The Home looked Different on the Website We had a Great Time

Great location, clean house

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is very good, it's quiet and there's plenty of parking. The house was clean, the hvac worked well and the beds were comfy. There was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had the basic stuff which worked for us. We only ate breakfast here. The only drawbacks were the lack of friendly lighting in the living room, which we solved using a bedroom lamp. The door knobs fall off and some of the doors don't stay closed. It's an old house and it shows. But we were comfortable here and every one had their own bedroom, which is why it deserves all 5 stars.

Great Property for Large Groups

This is a great house and my family very much enjoyed staying there. You've got a downstairs bedroom if you have anyone in the group that has trouble with stairs which is great when needed. The neighborhood is dark at night but we felt safe and loved the proximity to everything we wanted to see and do. My only feedback is that the floors in the house were very dusty when we arrived - while not a big issue they should be very clean. I'm sure it will be next time. Overall, we will absolutely stay here again.

Perfect for a Large Group in NOLA

If you are coming with a large group for a short stay in NOLA this is the place to be - King Beds for everyone! Only a couple of issues the host remedied right away and with minimal interference with our group.

Location

Great property in an excellent location. You are in walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the streetcars. Neighborhood is safe and there is ample street parking. The property manager was easy to get in touch with and quickly responded to our needs.

Incredible

Absolutely loved our stay here. Me and a group of friends meet up in New Orleans for the weekend and we so happy with the house. The house was so spacious and all the beds were very big and comfortable. Our weekend was a huge success and so much fun in large part due to this wonderful place! Was so close and accessible to the Superdome, Bourbon St & Frenchmen St. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
