  • Welcome to your oasis in the Southeast - where history, nature, and tranquility converge. A generous four-bedroom home nestled in the heart of New Ross, our home is conveniently situated within the Norman town wall. Overlooking the picturesque Barrow River and South Kilkenny, it provides a sense of tranquility that feels like a home away from home. Multiple supermarkets are within a two minute drive or a short walk. Staying in and making a meal in this well equipped kitchen with stunning panoramic views is a delight. Surrounded by a spacious garden of approximately half an acre, you’ll find peace and relaxation. Secure off street parking on-site.

    The house is just a few minutes walk from downtown New Ross. The town was the filming location of Oscar winner Cillian Murphy’s film Small Things Like These. Explore local history including the Three Bullet Gate, the Ros Tapestry, and the Dunbrody Famine Ship and Center. Enjoy a stroll along the River Walkway or hop aboard The Barrow Princess for a scenic cruise to Waterford City. Visit the Kennedy Homestead, ancestral home of US President John F Kennedy, and the nearby JFK Arboretum.

Paula was very responsive to any questions we had. The house and yard a beautiful. The location was perfect. We felt the privacy but at the same time, we could walk to the corner deli and local pub. We loved it!

Amazing little spot

Easily the best Vrbo our family stayed in during our trip to Ireland. Great house that can fit a large group and host that made us feel at home. The town of New Ross is so cute, close to lots of attractions, and easy base to get to other towns in the area. Wish we had stayed longer!

As good as it gets!

We stayed for four nights in June and it was perfect!Paula's communication before arrival was prompt and caring. The property has everything that you might need and more. Spacious and airy, the house is a short distance from anything that you might need. I can't recommend this house highly enough as we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Beautiful spacious home in the heart of town

We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spacious home. After traveling throughout Ireland and going from hotel to hotel, we truly enjoyed an evening where the 4 of us could spread out a little in this gorgeous spacious home. The location is perfect. And the property managers were beyond accommodating! Thank you for sharing your home!

The house was exactly what we were looking for. With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms with showers. There was a great living area for relaxing and a large great room with a dining area with two sofas. Knowing that there was a washer and dryer allowed us to pack lighter. The kitchen had everything we needed and a wonderful view of a church and view of the valley and hills beyond.The back yard was a real treat watching the variety of birds. The property has a large private off street parking area and is located where it is very private with no traffic noise.This is a perfect central location for visiting the southeast of Ireland and I highly recommend it for those looking for a location with a small town feel and home with lots of space.I cannot say enough good things about Paula our host. From the time I reserved the unit we stayed in contact and she was always very prompt with answers on any questions I had. It was obvious that the property had been cared for with everything in perfect working order.This was a great find and again our thanks go out to Paula a perfect host.Gary

Fantastic property

This is a fantastic property. The location is perfect and New Ross has some interesting sites and great restaurants. This property was very comfortable and extremely well maintained. The bedrooms were perfect and the bathrooms excellent. The owner’s agent was welcoming and even had sconces and tea for us. Overall this property is a 10+. We’ll return and recommend to family and friends!!

Wow, what an amazing stay we had in New Ross! The house is absolutely gorgeous—spacious, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved cooking family meals in the kitchen, hanging out in the big back garden, and just enjoying the beautiful views from every single room.The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to pubs and restaurants, plenty of grocery stores nearby, and so many stunning beaches just a short drive away. After long days out exploring, it was such a treat to come back to comfy beds and hot showers.The little touches really made it special—like the easy QR code for the WiFi, board games for family nights, and how clean and tidy everything was when we arrived. The host was fantastic and always quick to respond to questions, which made everything so easy. Honestly, this house is perfect for a family reunion or a friends’ getaway. We loved every minute and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
