"One of the nicer La Quintas we been to lately but wasn’t crazy about the neighborhood. I notice that bc I needed to walk the dog and there wasn’t much of a walking area"

Best Western Halito Inn
"We stayed here as an alternative to the casino and we almost past it because it was so close. Check in was easy, the room was clean/bed and pillows were fine, and the breakfast was great. Overall would stay here in the future and recommend it."

Remote Cabin Hideaway in the woods close to the lake, walking trails, and casino
"Enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler. My ONLY complaints were no WiFi which is understandable in the area and lack of a/c throughout. If you are a warm sleeper, bring a fan. Even with the unit on 67, the a/c does not travel to the bedroom so it was hard getting comfortable at night. Other than that, ..."
