Comfy 1-bedroom available with Awesome NY family!

Welcome Travelers!

We have a cute sun-filled 3 bedroom apt directly across the street from City College with a gorgeous view of the cathedral across the street. Only one (1) bedroom is available for now and, of course, you can use the common spaces including light cooking or meal preps. We try to stay away from radiation, so no microwaves! Located in a historic district in Harlem, it's 3 blocks (or a 5-min walk) from Alexander Hamilton's original and only home; right above tons of restaurants, cafés etc.

To be fully transparent, there are pros and cons! We are currently renovating the apartment. The last photo shows the hallway while it was being painted. Way in the back, you might see tools, supplies etc. It's quiet all evening and all night and throughout the day on the weekends, but Monday-Friday, there will be construction happening on the roof from 9 - 4 pm. It is also on the 5th floor of a walk-up for now, so if you have disabilities, this may not be for you (although our next door neighbor is disabled and she never wanted to move!).

The bedroom available has a very comfortable standard full-sized mattress that's in a murphy bed, so it can close up during the day for extra space when not in use.
The bathroom has a full size (for NYC) bathtub; is naturally bright and well-ventilated.

The space is ideal for a single person or couple. If you are traveling in a larger group, we may be able to accommodate you. We have a sofa-bed that opens to a queen sized mattress, but that mattress is not very thick. We also have an additional standard twin bed that can be placed on the living room floor if that's preferred. The twin mattress is thick and quite comfortable

About us: we are a couple with a super friendly, somewhat precocious 4-year old. She loves chatting with everyone, but is often away with grandma. While you may not see her, her toys are all over the living room! Your child is welcome to play with them and/or her piano. More photos to come!
