The registration process was difficult, as the link to the “happy guest” program didn’t work from my iPhone and figuring out how to upload pictures of the front and ack of my license and a picture of me holding my license was time consuming and frustrating. “Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. “This lovely, incredibly comfortable yurt is in the most beautiful setting along a beautiful river and in a peaceful forest. The wood stove kept everything warm and cozy, and it was wonderful to be "off the grid"! We attended a great concert at the Stone Mountain Arts Center (just 3 miles away), and enjoyed a peaceful day of reading, walking, and resting the rest of our time there. Our hosts were fantastic and responsive. We'd love to come back!”
