Pensionat för Maine

“This is the biggest rip off. For what I paid for one night here I could have stayed in a Hilton with actual soap, shampoo, conditioner, real coffee with an actual cup, a hot breakfast buffet, and a comfortable bed and linens that are actually soft, and a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Yes, the view is beautiful, but it’s Coastal Maine, there are plenty of places with beautiful views. The good-beautiful view, hot water, there is a hot tub (that smells) and an outdoor sauna The bad- no one...

“Excellent mix of charm and affordability, with a great location and friendly staff!”

“Wonderful experience!!!”

“Härlig utsikt mot bukten. Fräscha och trevliga stugor. Trevlig personal och helt ok frukost.”

“Peaceful lakefront getaway! "Wonderful one-night stay! Beautiful, quiet lakefront setting — the lodge was clean, cozy, and the guest kitchens had everything we needed. The jacuzzi in the large bathroom was the highlight for me and host Josh was welcoming and easy to reach. We'd definitely return!"”

“A special hotel. Beautiful setting, unique one-of-kind inn. So very Maine coastal. Staff could not have been more appropriately available, helpful, kind. Lovely experience all around.”

“Mycket trevligt boende, vi blev varmt välkomnade av Steve som visade oss runt på boendet och gav oss bra tips på aktiviteter och restauranger. Kylskåp på rummet och bra internetuppkoppling. Helhetsupplevelsen var toppen, jag kan verkligen rekommendera Hawks House Inn. ”

“You will receive the best service and the utmost kindness—the very best.”

“We were here as the next to the next last stop on our way home from our vacation. I wanted a place with close proximity to the ocean somewhere along the south coast of Maine. This place fit the bill perfectly and when we arrived about 2 hours before sundown and one hour before low tide it was even more perfect. We took an hour Long Beach walk and saw some awesome views of the river as it turns into ocean. There were few people out on the beach and the lapping of the waves and the sand was...

“I love this little place for a quick overnight! Easy in, easy out! I’ve met the owner; very nice individual. They also have a gift section with different oils, soaps; homemade I’m sure. The next time I’m gonna make sure I have extra cash, as she has an “honor” system for purchasing.”

“Very good breakfast. The mushroom omelette we had for breakfast was simply outstanding. Also the wine & cheese between 17:30-19:00 is a great way to meet the other guests. Superb !”

“My sisters and I LOVED everything about the Inn. We can't wait to go back!”
