Lynn, we're sorry to have lost your business due to our service and policies. We do have these practices in place for specific reasons, so will take the time to explain for any future guests looking to book. Our office is located exactly 3 miles from this rental home, so wait times for any in-person maintenance is prompt and much faster than other management companies. Our maintenance team is also on call and on the ground 7 days a week. We do require guests to check-in at our physical office (which is right off the road that leads to the rental). We do this to confirm the identity of the person renting the home, as we have seen an increase in underage renters through these third party platforms. It is therefore for the security of the neighborhood and the home itself. We hope you understand. The entire check-in process will add 5-10 minutes to your commute. Late check-outs must be requested in advance, so we can properly coordinate and schedule with our cleaning crews. All of these policies are in place to ensure that all guests receive clean, fully-functioning units. And sometimes that requires us to be rigid in our policies.
