While it was appealing to let the kids have a sleep over it made no sense to put them over the family room unless all the parents were going to go to bed at 8pm. “We’ve been visiting Chautauqua for years and this was by far our best trip yet. The chalet was beautiful and very well stocked with all the essentials and then some!! Communication with the owners was great. We were able to hike and explore the property, play in the snow, enjoy some of the local wineries, then wind down to relax by the cozy fireplace. “Booked this property to watch the 2024 solar eclipse (more than 2 years advance!) and it did not disappoint! Beyond the fact that it was the perfect size for my group (7 adults), very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need, the best part of this property by far is the views!! I highly recommend this property - the property manager is great, was a great value, and it was the perfect setting for witnessing the total eclipse - an experience I’ll never forget!”

“We stayed for three days at Windsor Chalet with our two adult children, their "significants" and their dogs . We had hoped for some skiing but needless to say the weather didn't cooperate. Instead we visited near by Salamanca, NY (home of Seneca Allegany Casino, Seneca Gaming, Seneca Iroquois National Museum and nearby Allegany State Park). The park was such great spot to hike with our dog and if you're interested in spending time in the Casino it's really close. We wanted to visit the Museum...

“The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. Their dog, Willy was an extra, added friend to us, and made our trip even more special. - Pete”

“I wasn’t looking for anything glamorous just for a one night Niagara Falls trip with the kids on a whim. It fit our needs for a night. The neighborhood is a typical tight city block 2 story style brick. At no point did we feel unsafe but the neighbor to the left (if looking at the home) had loud music during portions of the night. Nothing the fans in the rooms couldn’t drown out. Simple, low maintenance stay.”
