The house was exactly as shown/described in the listing, and the owners were very responsive when we had trouble getting connected to the internet. The house is in a very quiet part of town, about a 5-8 min drive from the center of activity surrounding the falls. This worked well for us, and we easily grabbed Tim Hortons from right around the corner before heading to the falls in the morning. Would...

“Had a relaxing weekend with fun activities on our doorstep. Could walk or bike ride to most activities. Lovely beds and linen, hot showers and easy to cook in kitchen. ”

“Alnwick is a small but comfortable cottage with every amenity you can think of. A carport turned into a sun porch gives you more room for dining and relaxing. Guests also have the use of a beautiful back garden. If you are there for the Shaw Festival, it's a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Festival and Royal George Theaters. Pauline is a welcoming hostess, but gives you your privacy. She will also spoil your dogs with homemade treats! We would definitely stay there again.”

“When you arrive, you will be greeted by many friendly animals! Dawn is really easy to communicate with and timely in responses. The Hoblet was the perfect size for my husband and I on our honeymoon. One thing we wish we knew prior to our stay would be the toilet situation with not flushing toilet paper due to their septic. One thing we love, is that the money we spent on our stay goes directly to supporting the animals with food and comfort. ”
