“We arrived at 3am as the flight was delayed, I texted the front desk to let them know, the night manager responded. We were told the room was over booked and we were staying in the Sheraton across the road in New Orleans. Fortunately because I had let them know the situation they suddenly found us a room ….. free breakfast was comped the next morning, a nice gesture for the misinformed night staff that were working that evening! “The room service is pathetic. A big brown paper bag and everything in plastic boxes, cutlery... Plastic. Pathetic. What happened to a cart, food on porcelain plates, coffee in silver carafes... Cheap and pathetic. Very sad where Marriott has declined... Back to Hilton.... Or loews... Or Le Méridien... ”
