“Lovely cottage, very comfortable and very clean. The interior was beautifully decorated, kitchen was well supplied and we appreciated the thoughtful coffee station. Large gas fireplace to enjoy along with a nice library of books. The king sized beds were very comfortable. We wished we could have enjoyed this space a little longer. Our host, Josh, was always available for anything we needed. Highly recommend this cute cozy cottage.”

“The home was so thoughtfully prepared for us. The check-in was simple and easy. The kitchen was well stocked and as such we could easily make our own meals. We had no issues with electronics - i.e., wifi, tv, etc. The location was central to everything we were doing. We had rented a car and it typically took 10 minutes or less to every place we needed to go.”

“This was our second stay, so I guess we must like it. Seems like they improved the shower since last time, so that was nice. TV was a little difficult to get up and running but we eventually managed. Only other (very minor) thing would be to flip the hinges on the refrigerator door so it opens on the other side. Everything else was just fine!”

“Great little place! Enjoyed breakfast on the deck with family and good conversations in the living room. It may be farther from town than some folks are looking for, but if you're looking for a good escape to the Butte Creek Canyon, this is hard to beat. ”

“Beautiful family cabin with a view of Lake Almanor. We enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets over the lake while sitting on the deck. Spacious, clean and well appointed with all the kitchen items you'd need. The cabin is in a quiet area, not far from Chester and easy access to the lake. We loved our comfortable stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you for a delightful base for our adventures!”
