“Vi bodde på detta Guesthouse i sex nätter, i ett klassiskt rum med tre futons. Personalens engagemang och mycket personliga bemötande var fantastiskt med allt ifrån språkråd till tips om aktiviteter och lokala händelser. Hotellet är välstädat rent och fräscht, både på rummen och i gemensamma utrymmen men toalett, dusch, tvättmaskin, kök. “Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again.”

The check-in process was all automated and quite straightforward but be aware that the emails are sent in Japanese and I had to pop these in a translation app. The building is small but the room was a generous size.
