“Skyler was a great host, even coming out to the street to get us to the right place when we arrived late in the dark. (Directions auto-corrected to 10 West Smith St. -- close, but one block over). Had everything we needed, perfect size, easy walk to Queen Anne District for anything you might need, and short drive to anywhere you may want to go. Street parking was easy, and we highly recommend a troll hunt if you have no specific plans. Highly recommend!”

“The location of this charming cottage couldn’t be better. Walk to bakeries and restaurants. On-street parking readily available, with a charming outdoor area. I have to especially give a shoutout to the kitchen, which had everything you’d need to make a meal, and the interesting, charming adornments around the rooms.”

“This location is beautiful with plenty of boat traffic, ducks, eagles, seals and sea otters to keep you entertained. I have never stayed in a home with a better stocked kitchen, it had everything we needed. It was very private and out of the way, but town was only a few minutes away if you needed something. We brought our dog with us and he loved to sit on the balcony watching the wildlife, and the access to the beach was easy for him to navigate. Very thankful that they had a yard for our dog....

“Everything was amazing, just as pictured and discribed. I loved the extra touches, organization, throw blankets and more. We enjoyed the location, easy access to town, the ferry, restaurants and sites. About 5 minutes away we would see 3 deer grazing. We enjoyed the firepit nightly. “We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay while on the island. I’m a frequent visitor to Whidbey, but usually stay with family. I wanted something close to them and this listing fit the bill. I’ve never stayed in such a well-appointed place. The house is modern, clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. They thought of everything. The owner was responsive to one small issue about the Wi-Fi, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Green Door house.”

“We had a wonderful stay in Lisa's apartment! A big plus was that we were able to park in the garage, and there is an outlet for charging your EV. The apartment was spotless, and there were such nice touches - fresh flowers, good coffee and tea, a basket full of nice snacks, and a nice bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival. Also, there was a Brita jug in the fridge for filtered water. The bed and other furnishings were super comfy and the appliances were all top notch. There was even a compost...

“Great beach house with space for 2 families and close to town. Beware there are a lot of stairs down to the home, but it is stated so on the site. Stairs are sturdy and have handrail. No problem for us.”

“I come over to West Seattle monthly for diving. I stay in this unit for several reasons - first and foremost, it is cool. If you recall the Grunge explosion, this will be like sleeping in nostaglia. Excellent and eclectic records collection. It is close the restaurants (walking distance) and on the beach. Recommend it for anyone.”

“I'd give this place a 9/10, I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Seattle again. The room is great and had everything I needed (and more - I never even used the stove). It had a fridge, cutlery, microwave, toasters and other kitchen tools that I barely even touched. The TV system was also top notch with a large variety of streaming services and regular TV. The Ballard area is a far cry from the at-times chaotic downtown Seattle, it is a calm neighbourhood with great restaurants,...
