Min familj och jag bor på heltid i Lexington, MA. Vi bestämde oss för att köpa vårt första fritidshus i Chatham, MA 2008. Medan huvudorsaken var närheten till vårt hem nära Boston, insåg vi också hur mycket Chatham påminde oss om vår tid på Nantucket Island. Chatham har all charm och skönhet som Nantucket Island, som är där vi gifte oss. Detta var vårt första köp och på grund av erfarenhet, livskvalitet, bra minnen och inklusive den fantastiska året runt atmosfären bestämde vi oss för att köpa en extra fastighet och börja vår långsiktiga investering i staden och omgivningen. Denna fastighet med sitt nautiska tema och originalrenoverade golv kommer att ge en unik upplevelse för gäster som vill ha lite avskildhet från centrummassorna men också inom en mil från Chatham Harbor, Chatham Bars Inn och Downtown Chatham Center.

Vackert året runt fritidshus med färdiga trägolv hela och ett vackert kakel badkar och dusch av master första våningen sovrum. Köket har fina färdiga trä bänkskivor med alla apparater. Inkluderar året runt Värme och A / C under hela de fuktiga dagarna / kvällarna! Två sovrum upp och två sovrum ner!
Giant däck helt inhägnad bakgård drar full nytta av både sol och varvet område. Vår, sommar och höst säsongsbetonat bordtennisbord, över marken eldstaden, volleyboll nät och inhägnad i varm / kall utomhusdusch.

Our time in Chatham was made very comfortable thanks to this rental with comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and large enclosed yard. I highly recommend this rental for families/large groups.

Great Property!

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend while we were in town attending a wedding. It was perfect! Close to everything and just a wonderful home. Hosts are great! Will absolutely stay here again.

I rented this house specifically for the garage as I was doing the flowers for my daughter’s wedding. The house was perfect for it. The set up of the house and the size of the space was exactly what we needed!

Nice House and a great back yard

The house is centrally located and the are is very cute. There is a little cafe across the street that it is a cute place with great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The house was nice and perfect for our family of 5 and our English Golden Retriever. Some of the items in the home for cooking were old, very used, pans scratched and unable to use. But we made the best of it and really enjoyed our time spent there. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Charming house. Great location

The house is clean, fully stocked with everything you need, has a great back deck and a large fenced-in yard. Location was ideal for us: just close enough to town and beaches, but not packed into a crowded block. The house itself is clean and comfortable. Some rooms could use a little updating, but overall, we were very happy during our stay over New Year's. Owners were very responsive to our questions.

A slice of backyard heaven in Chatham...

Proximity is everything, and our stay for two blissful weeks in August was nearly perfect. The only thing missing was water views, a quick drive, walk, or bike ride away. Our family has rented on the Cape for decades, always in different locales, and this was our first experience staying in Chatham. What a delight: from the nearby luxurious Chatham Bars Inn to beaches at the ocean and ponds, shopping, ice cream shops, and amenities, we thoroughly enjoyed our explorations, then returned to a roomy house with a beautiful backyard, patio, deck, piped-in gas grill, and fire pit.

good for dogs

This property has a very nice, fenced yard for the dogs making their stay terrific. The fence was secure even for our little dog (11 lbs). In/out through sliding glass door made access to yard simple. Kitchen was stocked with pots & pans, good for our Thanksgiving meal. Gas grill also nice to have on patio. Place was clean and sleeping spaces spread out. Downsides: had to bring own towels/linens & we don't own king sized sheets; blower on furnace (AC?) ran constantly and sounded like heavy windstorm making it harder to sleep deeply; regular traffic noise for front bedrooms.

Lovely, Large Home Near Everything

My group was in town for a wedding in Chatham, and we were delighted to stay in this large home that was conveniently located a short walk to town and very central to the wedding parties. The rehearsal dinner and wedding were each only a quick rideshare away, and on Saturday while we had downtime we popped to Main Street for brunch and to browse the local shops. Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend, but I believe the beach was close by as well. The house itself was great, I wish we were staying longer! Huge fenced-in yard with ping-pong, a fire-pit, and grill were all out back. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and all the necessities. As we were a group of 5, it was nice that everyone had their own room (my partner and I took the master-bed) and space to spread out. I know there was another bathroom and bedroom above the garage but we didn't even feel the need to go into it, there was plenty of space and bathrooms in the main house. Overall a lovely stay! My only constructive feedback is that I think the linens situation could be improved - while the listing is clear about bringing or renting sheets and towels (and it was easy to do so) it would have been nice if that was just included in the overall booking so its one less thing to think about. Thank you for a great weekend! If/when I'm back on the Cape, I would definitely rent this house again!

Perfect yard for entertaining

We loved our stay! House was very clean with incredibly comfortable beds and had all amenities needed. The backyard right off the dining area is such a perfect place for entertaining with plenty of seating and yard space for yard games. Would love to come back to Chatham and stay again!

Perfect house, perfect location in Chatham.

David & Evelyn, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. It was perfect for myself, two children, my parents and our family dog. The home was well appointed, very clean and had all expected commodities. Having a washing machine at the beach is a plus, as the girls couldn’t stop chasing crabs! This home is lovely and the backyard is spacious and well appointed, with the outdoor shower, gas grill and fire pit! We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Chatham Escape

Wife and I rented the hose from 06Sep thru 10 Sep 2021 on a list minute vacation whim. I booked this property rather quickly without my typical due diligence. Fortunately, I lucked out as this property was a true pleasure. The house is very well maintained and provides plenty of room for relaxation. What I really liked was how well items in the house were detailed. Having rented several homes in the past the simple process of knowing which switch to turn on the patio light can be a challenge. Dave & Evelyn have done an excellent job of labeling switches, instruction on remotes, how to use a provided supplemental speaker for my music... again was so nice to have the guidance. I had some concern on how close the house was to RT 28, but this was not an issue. The home itself with a beautiful outside sitting area (and fire pit) should give most folks plenty of room for stretching out. Coordination prior to arrival was excellent. We received an email with documentation on Do’ & Don’ts, supplier for linen and instructions for house access. Dave was very quick to respond to my question (details on beds so I could order linen). Very happy with eh home and certainly would stay again an recommend to others.

Girls Weekend

We stayed at this lovely property for a girl weekend. It was very clean and spacious. The outdoor space was great. We utilized the deck for outdoor meals and the fire pit at night. I would recommend this house and we will definitely rent it again in the future!

Labor Day Birthday Weekend

We had a fantastic stay at David and Evelyn’s property. It was so easy to find and had ample parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfortable and the apartment felt very clean once we arrived. Would definitelt recommend this Vrbo location.

We loved this house

Our family of five really enjoyed staying at this lovely property. The backyard is amazing for families and the bonus space above the garage is AWESOME. The property owners are also extremely kind, welcoming, and over-the-top accommodating. We are so sad to leave but we'll be back!

A sweet house

We had a sweet time in David and Evelyn's house. They were very responsive and helpful. The location was an easy drive to downtown Chatham, which had plenty of parking for our late June stay. The house was a little smaller than we thought from the pictures, but clean and lovely. Like many houses on the Cape, it's right on a main road so you can hear traffic... a day of that and we no longer noticed, though. Extra points for the convenient Netflix and Amazon account access already provided (no searching for passwords...) The kitchen was outfitted with EVERYTHING which made cooking for our group a breeze. The master bedroom and bathroom were gorgeous. The second bedroom upstairs has a day bed with a trundle, though, which may be a challenge for particularly tall people (my 5' 8" sister had no problem sleeping there.) I don't remember a picture of that room featured on the website; I think it was referred to as the other bedroom with twin beds. The main street in Chatham is wonderful, and don't miss the Friday night band concert downtown during the summer!
