“The walkway to the office entrance is wood planking with much of the paint peeling off. The Room was shabby with unpainted patches in areas such as the door jambs. The door between the 2 rooms would not close,. the room above mine was occupied and the occupants walking around till midnight was not muffled and very disruptive . I was charged $100 for a damage deposit. I left at 8am in the morning, the office does not open until 9 am and I have heard nothing more about the $100. Take a guess...

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

“Had a good stay here for 3 days and 2 nights! Staff are awesome! They are very helpful specially the lady at the front desk who helped us on all our requests! The only problem that I have encounter was they said that housekeeping is by request so we requested it the 2nd day before we left and visit downtown, they said yes at the front desk but when we came back, our room wasn't even touch or cleaned, we expected if as we requested it. “The front desk man was very helpful and kind. The room was lovely, there was yogurt, cheese and mandarins in the fridge in the room, and muffins were also provided, it was nice to be able to lounge in the room instead of going downstairs. The two-person tub was a bonus as well. Nice, quiet and close to everything.”

“Found a highly toxic cleaner smell when entering room which was overpowering. Reported to front desk after airing room out awhile. They said it may be due to person in room previously and told them that’s not the way to clean. Felt uncomfortable in the room with cleanliness(bedding etc) and should have left but only needed to stay a few hours due to early flight ”
