“The staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to eat and local transport & taxis. Our room was spotless & had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. It was lovely and quiet at night & breakfast in the coffee bar was fresh and delicious. It’s a great base for visiting local attractions.”

“Quiet little town. Went for a short walk on over the fields which was nice. There's a pub on the hotels ground floor but did not disturb. Cute little court yard. Nice cooked breakfast to order! Comfortable bed.”

“Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. ”

“What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil. Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need. You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine. “Rooms where clean and comfortable however bathroom door had some damage and two bandaids where holding and covering the damage not so fresh. Had a long day if meeting and tried to order room service but never got through on the room phone to room service so had to ho down stairs to order something to eat when I just wanted room service and a good night sleep . Bed was comfortable but pillows only ok ”

The Plough Hotel

2/10 Väldigt dåligt

"Bilderna var mycket bättre än verkligheten. Otroligt slitet, luktade mögel i hela byggnaden. Väldigt varmt på rummet utan AC. Otroligt mycket ljud från gatan utanför, som väckte en från 5:30 på morgonen och även på natten när någon körde förbi. Trots att vi redan betalt, ville de att vi skulle betala för rummet igen. "

The Worlds End

4/10 Dåligt

"Arrived everything was locked and closed no contact number … was booked in for the week but first might had to go and stay at another hotel. Hotel would not refund the first night . Second night stayed after being completely locked out only to have a rock hard bed and a room that was freezing cold with no heater and a toilet that didn’t flush properly. Woke up hurting as the bed was so hard. Breakfast the eggs were undercooked and they put cheese on them couldn’t eat them . "
