The property was not as shown in the description of the property The hot tub was collapsed, yard and bushes were overgrown,Fence pieces strewn all over the yard, duct tape around shower head, tv in bedroom had no picture and flooring was in terrible condition due to soft spots throughout the home making it a trip hazard and there was a lot of dog hair imbedded in the area rugs and ants in the bathroom. Was very unhappy with the property. I took pictures of these issues.

The place shouldn't be rented out. The floor is so soft in spots, that you fell like you are hoing to fall through. One shower head was held in with duct tape and fishing string. The A/C in one bedroom was about to fall out of the wall. Electrical outlet pulled out of the wall. A draw containing prescription drugs. I have pictures to back up my claims. The place shouldn't be rented to anyone.

Floors in the living room were not in good condition. There is soft spot in the living room floor and vinyl plank flooring has seperated. The beds are very soft.

awful property

not clean, floor coming up, tripping hazard, cooling system not adequate in 80 degree weather. lack of towel racks, 4 overflowing trash cans at arrival. commode loose in bathroom. no vacuum cleaner. open cracks between floor and wall to outside. would never stay here again.

Great people

The property is right on the canal. Plenty of room. Very clean. The boat dock is great. The neighbors are very friendly. Plenty of parking. Kelly the host is wonderful. Quick responses and very helpful. Will stay here every time I visit Okeechobee. Great people.

Not at all what is portrayed

The refrigerator/freezer was disgustingly dirty, sticky. I had to clean and sanitize it before we could use it. The dishwasher had standing water and dirty dishes in it. I had to clean that and all dishes, pots, pans, utensils before using them There was dirt, dust, trash, mouse droppings everywhere. The floor is cracked\broken(hidden by rugs) and weak as if you would fall through the floor at any moment. The shower in the back bathroom is held up with duck tape, we couldn't even use it. The other shower is so tiny, there isn't any room to move. The fence that is shown in the pictures is non existent. It is over grown, there is a nasty mold filled inflatable hot tub on the porch(completely useless). We were not able to relax and enjoy our vacation.I would NOT recommend this place if you are looking to relax.

Enjoyable

The property was a little overgrown and dirty. Spraying outside for insects would help. Leaving bug spray on the counter is not the way to go. The central air was not working. Thank goodness for the window units in the bedrooms only. Kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms were clean but the floors and rugs were not.

Great property!! Will be coming back!

My boyfriend and I came down to Florida to visit family and this was a great place to stay! We had issues with the dryer but the host, Kelly, was super easy to get in contact with and replies almost immediately! We are planning a trip next summer and will definitely be looking to stay here again!

Family fishing trip

Okeechobee rental

This would be a great property for fishermen to stay for a short time. I would not recommend it for a family or an extended stay. The host was easily accessible and accommodating. There is plenty of parking space, and it accommodates boats. Unfortunately there are feral cats in the neighborhood who sleep on the furniture on the porch and a rooster next door who starts crowing at 4am. The rental served our purpose for what we did while in Okeechobee.

My stay

The trailer was not clean pet hair on the furniture and dining room chairs. Laundry in the washer and dryer. The flooring was coming up. There was no soap shampoo or any bathing products there was a gas grill but when I went to use it it was nasty not clean and the propane tank was empty. I do enjoy the area where the place is located
