âWonderful stay at the Whalers Inn! Helpful, communicative and friendly staff in all areas. Food was delicious at on-site restaurant, and there were many great food/shopping options within a walkable distance as well. Loved the views from the lobby porch rocking chairs and cute array of gifts in shop.â
âStaying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...
âIt was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. â
âEverything was good EXCEPT the TV service totally is horrible! The staff had to bring a new tv but the service they have in the rooms IS TERRIBLE!â
âSuch a hidden gem! Loved the view and peacefulness of the property. The unit was decorated and stocked perfectly. Very spacious. My son loved seeing the train behind the property go by. Enjoyed our stay with our two young children and will return next year. â

"Hotellet var ok, ligger lite off om man vill gÄ till hamnen i Mystic. Det krÀvs bil eller vÀldigt bekvÀma skor och 1 timmars promenad.
Rummet var stort och bra.
Besvikelsen kom nÀr vi skulle lÀgga oss och tog bort överkastet.
SÀngen hade bara ett skrynkligt underlakan. NÀr vi pÄpekade detta fick vi till svar att det var bÀddat och att de tvÀttar överkastet varje dag. Inte sant och Àven om sÄ bÀddar man sÀngen med lakan absolut inte med bara ett överkast. Jag har bott pÄ hotell flera hundra gÄnger och bara varit med om det pÄ vandrarhem. Underbetyg helt oacceptabelt!!!"
