“It was all a delight. The room overlooked the Harbor, Fireplace and 2 not 1 chair to sit back and enjoy. A soaking tub with a view and custom bath salts added to the delight. They did not miss a beat with fresh cream in the fridge for the coffee. The dinner menu offered many choices in a relaxed atmosphere. From check in to the restaurant the staff was attentive and professional. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Phinneywood Basement Hideaway. We slept very well. The property was easy to access and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking at home, and had plenty of bathroom accessories (towels & toilet paper). It was well lit at night and best of all, it was very affordable for our six-day stay. We hope to be back!”

“I'd give this place a 9/10, I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Seattle again. The room is great and had everything I needed (and more - I never even used the stove). It had a fridge, cutlery, microwave, toasters and other kitchen tools that I barely even touched. The TV system was also top notch with a large variety of streaming services and regular TV. The Ballard area is a far cry from the at-times chaotic downtown Seattle, it is a calm neighbourhood with great restaurants,...
