We went without air for a whole night and morning. Our bed was broke and we had to fix it temporarily until they semi fixed it the next day. They did communicate well when I called but I had to call the emergency line. It definitely needs updating. The blinds were broke in the sliding glass door and the air vent was hanging from one of the bathroom ceilings. The resort itself was ok. The guard at the front took his job seriously, which I appreciated.

Very Nice

We had a very nice stay at this VRBO. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is close to the clubhouse, although we did drive there because it was so hot. We were always able to find parking. My only complaint is that we could've used a couple more dish towels - only one was provided. :) Other than that it was very nice.

Budget Friendly

We decided on a last minute trip to Florida, so places available were minimum. Honestly we've been the ones to spend 3k on a place for a week just for special theming for the kids, but that wasn't in the budget this trip. We went with cheaper, but it was worth it! The place doesn't come off as cheap at all. The set-up is 100%. Only complaint was the one room upstairs with two beds, the beds were to uncomfortable for an adult weight, but fine for a child's weight. I've seen previous comments regarding TV remotes, yes we had to play with the TVs to get the boxes hooked back up, but with guests coming and going and probably hooking in their own devices, that's expected and common sense. Pool heat is 100% worth it and we enjoyed the pool. The view from the pool is really nice on early mornings. Only issue we had was the back pool light not working and they fixed it right away. Check-in is more difficult than necessary if you book last minute, but they let us add a last minute night on while we were there so that was appreciated. We did SeaWorld for most of our days, it's about 30-40 minute drive with heavy traffic. Would stay here again

Very Nice Property

Very nice! House was clean and looked like the photos in the posting. The pool was very small but the resort pool is huge so the kids used it some to splash around in. Overall it was a great vacation property. The only complaint I have was with trash pickup. There is a container on every porch to put bagged trash in. They pick it up everyday except for Wednesday and Saturday. On Sunday we had two bags because there was no trash pick up the day before so I put both bags in the bin. The bin wouldn’t fully close because it’s only big enough to hold one 12-14 gallon bag of trash at a time. When I went out Sunday morning there was a note on the door from the trash pickup saying the bin was not fully closed so they did not pick up the trash! I ended up driving it down to the community trash bin but I thought it was crazy they didn’t pick it up because the bin wasn’t fully closed. Also they will not pick up any loose trash from the bin, which was fine except the bin was half full of loose trash when we arrived. I cleaned it out when I left so I wouldn’t get charged but just some things to keep in mind. Other than that, I had no issues and we had a really great time!

Lovely stay

Awesome. However, payed for 3 days for pool use but was unable to use due to several screen panels with no screens and some were ripped. Bugs were coming in the pool area. Hopefully I can get my $75 back. Other than that the condo was very nice.

Great location

Super easy to get to Disney and food. It was nice having a little pool in the back. We didn’t use the resort amenities accept for the basketball court which was nicer than pictured. Enough beds for our young adult kids all to have one and enough bathrooms too.

Wifi-less getaway

The house was perfect size and location. However, when we got there we could not access the wifi. After five to six phone calls about it and the refrigerator not cooling, a tech finally came out after a day and a half - the evening of our second day. He discovered that we were given the wrong access information at check in (wow). I wa told someone in property management would call me to discuss this matter, but to date, that has not happened. Oh, I forgot to mentioned n that on my third or fourth call about no wifi, I was told that the internet service was down in the whole area...I asked my neighbor if theirs was out and was told no and that they had not had any interruptions either. So property management LIED! Also, upon arrival, the master bed upstairs had not been made. Sheets were thrown on bed and comforter was on the floor folded up. Not sure if any of it was cleaned, we washed them all. Garbage disposal did not work, but I never bothered to report it because nothing was being done to the two other issues we had reported (wifi and refrigerator). There were only like two face towels in the whole house so we had to purchase more.

Amazing Stay!

This was our first experience staying at a vacation home and we were very pleased how well it went. The whole process was simple and easy. The house looks exactly like the pictures! Beautifully furnished home, very clean and comfortable! My kids loved the private pool. Everything was perfect!

Love the place!

We have stayed at paradise palms before and we love it there. From your own private pool to a beautiful resort pool. This place has everything. The house was very nice and accommodated all of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Home, Community Experience Terrible

The house itself was large, and fit 3 adults, 3 children with no problem! It was clean, roomy, and the pool was well kept. The shower upstairs in the master doesn't drain well but that's easy fix. Everything else about the unit was perfect. This was short commute to Disney and actually wasn't bad at all. About 15-20 minutes but it's not bad at all. I loved the home but really had a bad experience with the clubhouse/community staff! Not the property managers/owners, they were amazing and very easy to work with and check-in was so easy! The community had its downfall though. I'm not sure if it was timing or if during busier times the same would be expected. There was a large group (over 20) boys/men playing basketball well into the evening. No big deal until they were so loud even as far as this unit was from the court we could hear them. I really felt for the people closer to it. At one point they broke out into a brawl. I don't mean a small one either. They were running out on the streets as well. I know that these things happen when large families come (not the brawl but loud chaos) but nothing was done. The next day, there was trash all over, and that night the same loud games. Why have security?! Second, don't have anything sent there! Not one piece of mail or Amazon package unless you want to pay an extra money for it! There's no mention in the booking, but in the clubhouse it is posted. They don't allow door delivery and they process your mail, and it could take up to 6 hours (not exaggerating) to do so. They won't look for your package no matter how important it is. They don't mind being completely rude about it either! They will charge you a fee for their processing PER PACKAGE or LETTER! It's not cheap either! If you need something delivered maybe see if rental company can recieve it as it's not far and on the way to most attractions. Also be prepared for the pool man to show up out back. He scared us! Haha! He came in middle of day, just happened to be the day we decided to hangout around the area. :) I hope the group was just bad timing for us, the house is really nice. So if you want a nice place convenient to Disney and don't plan on using the amenities at clubhouse or outdoors anyhow, this would be the place!

Home was 5 stars!!!

My only issue i had was that i had to go to the office to register. I rented another home at paradise palm in August and when i submitted my full payment the owner immediately emailed me the door code and all the other information. But this time in october it was different.

Clean & Cozy home

We rented this property to celebrate my son 10th birthday at Disney. This property was not only clean & up to date. It was exactly what we wanted not too far from Disney. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and family.

Family vacation/ 1 time using houses instead of hotels

Very impressed with how easy and efficient the whole check-in and communicating with the property manager was, the air conditioner needed to be reset when we first arrived but we just hung out in the pool until they could get to us. The rooms upstairs got a little cold but we just turned down the ceiling fans. They had all the essentials that you would need. It was close to everything with a back way into Disney without all the traffic. The pool was a little smaller then what we anticipated but fit our needs still. The coffee pot was broken but the manager replaced that morning just had to brew one cup at a time till the new pot came. I would suggest that they put plastic gutter downspouts we had a child walk by and kick it and then needed a bandaide. There was a double stroller in the closet that was more compact then our own which we used and thought it was very thoughtful of them to have it available. We will definitely be using a home rental again as we plan on an annual family vacation.

Big Disappointment!!

I have stayed at three different rentals at Paradise Palms and this rental was not up the standards I have come to expect. The floors were filthy. The downstairs bedding was nasty. One of the “clean towels” had blue stains on it. There was a lot of bugs outside the front door so every time you opened the door they came inside the unit. The outside of the microwave and fridge were dirty and the windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The unit also showed a lot of wear and tear with cracked floor tiles, damaged dining room chairs and dirty walls. The downstairs shower door was also dirty. So this unit was a big disappointment!

Paradise Palm

The home we stayed in carpet was worn and stained need replacing. Remotes to all TV broken. Furniture old and peeling. Otherwise the stay was nice. Will book with Scandi -HomeAway again soon.

Great times

We had great times in the house. The house is so clean and organized. Was exactly what we expected. I thought the crocodile sign in the lake was fake, but wasn’t. We saw the crocodile. The kids was so excited. We definitely had a great time there.
