Ocean view och bara 5 minuters promenad till Nauset Beach och Atlanten, The Friendship House erbjuder hem hemifrån komfort för en liten familj eller ett par.

Ett stort ljust fullt utrustat kök är redo för kocken eller enkel mat. Den mysiga matplatsen gränsar till köket och utanför matplatsen är ett vardagsrum för TV-underhållning eller lyssna på bränningen när vinden kommer från havet. Det stora vardagsrummet har en öppen spis och TV. En utomhusdusch har varmt och kallt vatten, bra efter en dag på stranden. Fönster AC kyler hela hemmet.

Vänskapshuset inkluderar huvudhemmet, som finns att hyra. En separat bostad som gränsar till huset och en lägenhet ovanför ett fristående garage hyrs årligen. Ägaren bor på fastigheten. Det finns gott om parkering.

Från detta charmiga strandhem kan du njuta av alla utomhusaktiviteter. Parkeringskort per vecka finns på Nauset Beach och Skaket Beach, som är känd för sina långa sandfält och många tidvattenpooler, jättekul för barn i alla åldrar.

Stranden nödvändigheter: handdukar, stolar, kylare, vindskärmar, etc. ..., tillhandahålls. Hyr en surfbräda eller boggebräda och rida på vågorna vid Nauset. Efter mörkt blick på ALLA stjärnorna, fria från moln av ljusföroreningar.

Repeat visitor repeatedly satisfied

This is the fourth (fifth?) time we have stayed at this property. It is a convenient walk down to Nauset Beach, and in the other direction a short drive to the markets, shops and restaurants in Orleans and East Orleans. The kitchen is very well stocked for anyone who wants to cook in, which we did several times during our two week stay. The living area is comfortable for TV or reading, and we slept well on the beds. We plan to be back next summer. That should suggest something pretty positive.

Disclaimer: I did not personally stay at the property. I rented this for my Mom for her birthday. She stayed there with 3 other adults all 60 years of age.Everything about the property and location was amazing. 5 stars, truly.The issue I have is the lack of CLEARLY stating the the owner is LIVING IN THE HOUSE with the guests. Now, is it possible I missed that being called out on the listing? Absolutely. If it were just that, I would consider the problem to be on me as I didn't read the listing properly. If this information were listed (which again, I did not see) I still would not expect the host to be IN THE HOUSE. Imagine you are having a conversation with your family and the host just pops his head out from the upstairs window and joins in. Or you are in your bedroom chatting with your spouse and you hear the owner comment to you through the wall or door... No... I'm sorry .. .that is not an acceptable experience. The host was a verry very nice man and the property is very nice, but I was mislead. I'm leaving this review so that others have the PROPER information to make informed choices.

The House is absolutely amazing! Very clean and cozy, from the first step it seems like you came to visit a very close and loving relative. 10 minutes walking to a wonderful, clean, sandy beach with lifeguards, and we enjoyed swimming with seals for all the time we were there :)Thank you, David, for letting us stay at your stunning place!

Total Relaxation

It’s been a couple of years since we were at The Cape. This is our favorite location, Nauset Beach, Orleans, Chatham and Brewster. The house was in a great location, central to all we wanted to do and a 10 min walk to the beach. The house was well equipped for day to day needs. Everything was clean and organized. The area is quiet and peaceful. We would definitely rent again and highly recommend.

Our usual comfortable stay

We have stayed at this property multiple times and likely will again. It is a great location, parking around the back. It is clean and ready when we arrive. There is a large kitchen with a center island, oodles of kitchen supplies and equipment. We walk down and back from Nauset Beach, and it's only about a three minute drive into Orleans and stores, restaurants, and the Cape Cod rail trail. Enjoy.

Wonderful Stay!

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic week at the property. Everything was as-listed and everything we needed for our stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, beach supplies, and great location in Orleans to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and easy to work with beforehand and during our stay. Highly recommended!

Wonderful week on the Cape!

Property was just as photos show. Darling little cottage, well loved and cared for. Although we had absolutely no issues whatsoever, I think the description should be clearer that the owner lives in the same home, on the other side, and upstairs. It should also mention that there's another rental directly behind, above the detached garage. Beach parking is $30/day; however we went many times in the early morning and after 5pm at no charge and it was lovely! Highly recommend The Barley Neck restaurant right down the street, as well as smitty's homemade ice cream! We weren't fans of "The Whisk". Dave is very nice and avaliable. Very nice area, gorgeous Nauset Beach! Thanks for having us!

A Comfortable Stay

This is our second time renting this property and it continues to please. It's comfortable, in a wonderful setting, and walkable to Nauset Beach, where parking has increased to $30. We use the well stocked kitchen for meals, and the living room for evening TV. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Home away from home

This property is well kept, comfortable, and full of personality. It is equipped with everything a guest needs and is decorated with knick knacks, books, and collectibles that reflect the owner's long history in this home. It's a quiet spot just a short walk down Beach Road to Nauset Beach. One bedroom has a double bed (and we are not large people, so that was fine for us.) The other has 2 twins. I would stay here again.

Great house and neighborhood

A perfect sized house for 3-4 people with room to spread out. Easy walk to the beach and a nice deck and backyard. We really enjoyed that there were no lights in the back yard on all night and you could see the stars.

Sweet spot close to Nauset!

Our family of 4 loved staying here! Plenty of room in what is clearly a well-loved family home. Nice backdoor porch with a distant partial view of the ocean. Bedrooms are spacious, and nice to have 2 sitting/living areas. Kitchen is fully stocked, has absolutely everything you need! Very easy distance from Nauset beach....no sidewalks so not great for walking with little ones, but we would drive down and one adult would drop the family off and then park back at the house and walk over. Worked out very well. Nauset beach is absolutely stunning, one of the best beaches in the cape. Check out the morning beach yoga classes there! Plenty of beach stuff (chairs, boogie boards) to use. Dave, who lives on the property in the adjacent apartment, was a helpful and accommodating host. Check in and out was super simple. Lovely experience, exactly what we wanted for a summer beach vacation.

Nauset beach vacation

My brother and I have been going to the Cape every summer since around 1955. Two years ago we sold our parents vacation home in Orleans. This place reminded us of our parents place- very homey, lots of memorabilia and totally equipped with everything anyone would need for a pleasant stay. We walked to the beach. The owner was helpful and genial. Would gladly go again.

A picture pe4fect stay

There is plenty of room in this house only a 0.6 mile walk from Nauset Beach parking is now $30 !). We walked down every day. There is a large, well-provisioned kitchen with an island for extra counter space, a family room and a large living room (both with TVs), and a large deck and outdoor table. Dave lives in an apartment on site, so he was responsive to a couple of first day questions, and showed us a basement are where we could store our bikes. All in, a great place to stay. We'll see Dave again next year!

Nauset Beach vacation

David’s house is surprisingly roomy with everything you need to cook, grill, relax, and explore. There’s a large outdoor shower with a changing area and good water pressure. The deck offers a distant view of the Atlantic. Two indoor seating areas meant that we each could have our own space to read (and tv if we wanted). It’s a great location exploring all of Orleans, or for walking to Nauset Beach. Without our beach gear it was an 11 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay atThe Friendship House.

Great house and location

We had such a great time here! My husband, teen son and I had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed. It was great being so close to the beach which was only a 10 minute walk and a short drive to restaurants. I would highly recommend!

Schöne Wohnung in super Lage

Die Wohnung hat eine super Lage nahe am Wasser. Man läuft aber anders als vom Vermieter gesagt 15 Minuten zum Wasser und keine 5. Dafür müsste man Joggen. Die Wohnung ist sauber gewesen und reichlich ausgestattet, für mich ein wenig zu viel Deko. Man hat den Eindruck in die Schränke kommt alles rein was übrig ist. Essecke du viert sehr klein wenn der Tisch ausgeklappt ist. Es ist das kleinste an der ganzen Wohnung. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfreich.

Right at home close to nauset
