# 519 Bayview Outpost: Tänk dig att titta på havets vågor bryta ut på stranden medan du njuter av ditt morgonkaffe från din privata veranda! Denna klassiska Cape Cod stuga, byggd på 1890-talet, ligger bara några steg från Cape Cod Bay - med tyst lugn och avlägsen utsikt över bukten. Förutom privat tillgång till stranden, har stugan ett omslag runt verandan med hängmatta, en skärmad plats för middag och avkoppling, äter i köket, sluten utomhusdusch, öppen spis, gasgrill och en rymlig mycket privat gräsmatta för gårdsspel. Dessutom byggs en stor eldgropsarea för närvarande och kommer att ge en fantastisk plats att koppla av ute för sommaren 2019! Du kan gå över till Rock Harbor, eller köra några minuter till Orleans centrum för massor av restauranger och nöjen. Det finns tre sovrum och ett badrum (med bara ett badkar inomhus - men med en stor utomhusdusch), sover totalt sex gäster. Det första sovrummet har en queen size-säng, medan de andra två har matchande enkelsängar. Andra bekvämligheter som ingår är split-A / C-system för heta sommardagar, WiFi, kabel och en smart TV för streaming. Sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls alltid för din bekvämlighet. Nice location, old and quaint

If you like old and quaint, this place is perfect. It was built a long time ago but everything was clean and in good working order. We were a little skeptical about there only being an outdoor shower but there was plenty of hot water and privacy. It was different but actually pretty neat. Not sure what it would be like in warmer weather since there is a large marsh nearby, but it was comfortable and quiet.

Quiet & relaxing..

This was our 3rd stay at this property. Me, my wife, & our 2 small dogs. Never went to town for shopping of dinner. Just walked, read, ate, nappped, talked, etc... Exactly what we needed. Exactly what we like. Excellent stay..!!

Excellent Retreat Location

Perfect getaway if you want privacy, yet within walking distance to downtown Orleans and local attractions such as Rock Harbor. Also within steps to huge awesome marshland and beach that appears endless at low tide. House is rustic and bedrooms are small, but plenty of room for 2, and most likely 4 if 2 are children. Outdoor shower is great. Overall, very enjoyable stay!

No walking beach access

The house was nice and as advertised. The walk to a sandy, grassy area by the bay was convenient and beautiful. But there's really no direct beach access unless you wade/swim a tidal river.

Beautiful Location, Quaint home

The location couldn’t have been better. Close to everything we love about the Cape. Beautiful tidal flats to walk through, the house was older but had so comfortable and clean. Lots of personality and the pictures of it over the years just added to the charm. The bed was comfy and extra blankets were available. The fire pit was an added bonus.

Quaint and Relaxing!

We loved it right away. The land around the cabin is nice and secluded. Access to the beach is quick and easy. The cabin has everything we needed, and the kitchen was stocked with a good selection of plates, dishes, glasses, cups, and cooking equipment. The staff of DelMar is great to work with. Our only cautions for future renters - there is no indoor shower (only a clawfoot tub), and the stairs to the bedrooms (3 upstairs) are tight with a 90 degree turn. Those w/mobility issues or needing/wanting a shower need to realize those 2 things. But, they were not big issues for us.

Beautiful home in an amazing location

We loved staying here! The house is beautiful and so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is delightful. We loved the outdoor shower and fire pit as well. The best part of the place, though, is the location. You can see the bay from the porch and you’re only a short, private walk from a beautiful beach.

We loved the old time rustic feel of the cottage even though it still had all the modern day amenities we needed. The location was perfect and our site was private and cozy. Easy access to a private beach. What more could you want? Communication about the property, check in, rules … was very organized and very helpful. We were very satisfied.

Perfect family spot

Process was simple. Property is exactly as described. A few feet from the bay with private beach that we essentially had to ourselves all week. Best part was ability to bring our pup to enjoy with us. The character of the home is enchanting and learning it's history made it even more special. Security deposit was returned within a few days with no issue.

43 years visiting the Cape

This was the first time in 43 years we’ve stayed on the bay side of the Cape and the first time in Orleans. We always stayed further down Cape on the ocean side. This was great! Very private and easy walk to the beach.

Quaint historic cottage in a great location.

Unique old Cape cottage, seems to be one of the oldest properties in the area. Great to be able to walk right out onto the beach with the kids during the day or sunsets in the evening.

Excellent cottage

We rented this beautiful cottage over Labor Day and it was a perfect weekend. The location was excellent; close to town and yet secluded at the end of a lane. A short walk took us to the beach. The sunsets from this beach were spectacular. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the availability of sheets and towels. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. There was a nice selection of books and games. I hope we have the opportunity to vacation here again in the future.
