Welcome to Barefoot Beach Resort, a laid-back spot on the best beach of Lake Huron. Cabin 2 is the kind of place where you can drop your bags, kick off your shoes, and unwind for a few days.



It’s a 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin with that classic up-north feel—knotty pine walls, freshly painted cabinets, and new mattresses to crash on after a day in the sun. The beach is steps away, the fire pits are right on the sand, and the cabins are simple, clean, and ready for a good time.



The Space:

☀ Full kitchen with painted cabinets + a 4-person dining table

☀ Living room with Roku TV (if you feel like turning it on)

You’re a few steps from soft sand and the kind of sunrises people actually set alarms for. It’s

laid-back and peaceful, and you don’t need to do much to enjoy it.

We’ve made some upgrades—new mattresses, some paint, little touches around the

edges—while keeping the cozy cabin character that made this place what it is.

Bring the marshmallows. The shared fire pits are right on the lake, and there’s nothing better than

ending your day watching the fire crackle and waves roll in.

Guest Access:

To complete your booking process and get your Guest Access information you will be connected with Enso Connect Guest Experience app. Once you have completed your verification process you will receive your Enso "Boarding Pass" with your Guest Access information.

The Enso Connect guest verification process will require:

* Signing of rental agreement

* ID and selfie uploads



Guests will enjoy exclusive access to a private cottage at Barefoot Beach. The property is self-check-in, so please carefully read the check-in instructions prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Discover Barefoot Beach Cottages in Oscoda, MI, located on the serene shores of Lake Huron. Enjoy direct beach access, pristine waters, and outdoor adventures such as fishing, boating, and hiking. Explore nearby Huron National Forest and the scenic Au Sable River. Immerse yourself in the local culture with charming shops and restaurants. With easy highway access to Alpena and Bay City, it's the perfect family-friendly retreat.



Getting Around:

Oscoda is a small, car-friendly town. Public transportation like buses or trains is unavailable, so having a car is recommended for exploring beyond town. Car rentals, taxis, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are accessible. Biking and walking are common, with various trails, beaches, parks, and recreational areas within easy reach on foot or by bike.



Other Things to Note:

• You will receive your Enso "Boarding Pass" with guest access details after completing verification, which includes:

-Signing the rental agreement

-ID and selfie uploads

• A non-refundable damage waiver is included in your total cost, covering more than minor wear and tear. Stays over 30 nights require a refundable security deposit if no damages occur (except Airbnb bookings).

• Discounts applied automatically:

-15% off for stays 7+ nights

-30% off for stays 30+ nights

• Extensions: Contact us for special offers.

• Starter Kit: Includes coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.

• **Local Guests: Prior authorization is required before booking**.

• Cancellations: Check your booking platform’s policy. Even for full refunds, a 4% credit card fee applies (except Airbnb & VRBO).

• Pets:

-$20/night, $100/week, $250/month (potty-trained dogs only).

-Preferably under 50 lbs—contact us for exceptions.

-Clean up after your pet & leash in common areas.

***Maintenance and inspections may be required during your stay. Please note that we cannot guarantee a specific timeframe or reschedule these visits. Any necessary work will be completed as quickly as possible to ensure the property remains in proper condition.
