“The house was very clean and tidy with plenty of space inside and outside for a family. It is close to beaches and to Takaka. Although it doesn’t have wifi or TV, there is a screen you can hook a device into and a PS3 with games. The only down side is that the road is a bit noisy at times, but it’s not very busy ”

“Julia’s property at Ligar Bay is fantastic. While we didn’t have the best weather over our 3 day stay the place was a great haven for us to cook at home and have some wine with the wood burning fire or watching a movie. We were able dip in the sea at the bottom of the road and it’s just a quick drive to great walks like Wainui Falls! We also drove an hour to the other side of Abel Tasman to boat in Kaiteriteri - beautiful spot! Overall a great stay at Golden Bay! ”

“Looks great online but the reality was quite a disappointment. The cabin was not as well appointed as I had thought given the cost, all a bit cheap and plasticky. The floor was sort of buckled and uneven in places and as such the door was a challenge to close. The container got quite hot as the weather was so good, but there was no air conditioning and no fly screens, so opening the windows meant I had to contend with some big bugs late at night (moths and cicadas).
