âThis is THE CUTEST little resort town, and we wish we had booked two nights instead of just one night on a road trip where we slept and left. Nice property, including our own balcony.â
âStaff and servers were attentive and friendly, and everything was clean. The complimentary breakfast at the gourmet restaurant far exceeds any other hotel comp. breakfast. The setting on the Pamlico Sound is gorgeous with many decks to enjoy the scenery. â
âNo reception, you had to call a phone number and get a password for the digital doorlock. We had to wait 25 minutes in telephone que until answered. Then when answered they said the hotel was overbooked and our room therefore not available.
They had no excuse and according to the hotel we finally managed to find with an available room on a fully booked site, they said that this hotel do so over and over again to be sure having it fully booked even with last minutes cancelled rooms.

âStaff were great and attentive, and the rooms were really nice, especially for a renovated old motel! We only stayed here for two nights on our way south to Ocracoke with more family, but would absolutely stay longer. Great vibe with the live music Friday and Saturday. Weâll probably be back next year! â
âIn the 25 plus years I have been staying in OBX this place has had the most comfortable beds EVER! And I have been in motels, hotels, rental houses through companies as well as Vrbo and such. Walkable to the beach and restaurants were nice as well.â

"We loved the place! Right in the marina with pool IN the marina! We were promised Harbor view, but we were a little bit cheated on that because we had to go out of the room to get the view. Perfect location, great pool area, near restaurants and sights. A place like Ocracoke is worth a longer stay! Good w bikerentals and golfcarts because narrow streets"
