“The unit we stayed in was large and fully equipped, with a balcony and a full kitchen. The building was secure and conveniently located within walking distance to everything in casco viejo. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and we felt mostly safe walking around. The only issue we had was that the code to our lockbox didn’t work when we arrived. However, we texted the property staff and they were able to give us another code that worked right away. The internet in the unit worked...

“In general, the room has a good view. However, this is a self service place. The bed was not a listed in the Expedia add. The first picture does not exist. The bed has satins from previous visitors. The bathroom had mold. The carpet was not clean and the key box was damaged. Oh, forgot, the plumbing did not drained….I notified and communicated the administration and they offered an apology and a team to fix the following morning. However, nothing was fixed. “I enjoyed my stay, during my one night layover in Panama City. The apartment was beautiful, cozy and charming - just like in the pictures. It was a little hard to find, because it’s in a residential building and not a hotel - but the staff was responsive and kind.”

“Krånglig, virtuell incheckning. Vi fick fel kod till nyckelskåpet och var tvungna att ringa ett nummer i Peru för att komma in. Lägenheten i sig är utmärkt med en stor altan. MEN... Letar man efter ett normalt, lugnt boende ska man inte bo här. Byggnaden är omgiven av diskotek som stänger kl 4 på morgonen. Fram till dess är det hög musik, skrik och bilar som tutar hela natten.”

“We stayed for one night as a family of five. Unfortunately, the room had a very strong smell of fresh paint, which the gentleman at reception did mention. However, with no windows or proper ventilation, the fumes were overwhelming and negatively affected our stay. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable. I hope the hotel ensures newly painted rooms are properly ventilated before assigning them to guests.”
