“Where do I begin? I feel like we got scammed. The reviews for this "apartment" were a 10 out of 10, and let me tell you it was more like a 4 out of 10. It was not advertised as a Motel 6 AT ALL! If I knew that, I would have booked at an actual Motel 6 for less money. I didn't feel safe checking in, especially with the bulletproof glass that was between me and the office clerk. My wife and kid stayed in the car before I let them know it was safe to come to the room. There were literally...

“It was very clean and lovely when we got there. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive and respectful. Would definitely recommend.”

“The stay was good. The host was great and very accommodating.”

“The room was dirty, floor was sticky, stains in the bed, chair dirty and sticky with hair on it, curtains full of holes, the room smelled bad (as if it had been a smoker room over decades), smoke detector not attached to ceiling but lying loose on a table, bathroom dirty, AC loud and appearing to fall out of the wall mount frame, broken down vehicles on the parking lot … (I could go on). On Expedia, this room was rated “10 - exceptional”, which is why I booked it. It is not even coming close to...

“no kleenex boxes to be found, so had to go buy. short on hangers, so needed to go buy.NO smoke/alarm installed. Vrbo did not give me the complete address, so had to call customer service and also to get the code to enter. After that it was good.”

“ Upon arrival, many Pomeranians started barking at us, they would bark throughout our entire stay. As soon as we walk into the private room, we are met with a strong smell of dog pee. Throughout our entire stay, every time we leave and re-enter the room the smell just gets stronger. We had to constantly use an air freshener which didn't help much. After a few minutes of setting our things down, we notice that the flooring is dirty and sticky as we're walking around. The owners must have been...
