“Adorable bungalow high on a hill overlooking the beautiful twin lighthouses on Thacher Island. The bathroom is a bit tight but otherwise a very nice spot in arguably the most scenic section of Rockport. Walking distance to several beaches and pretty Loblolly Cove. Loved it!”

“As I stated in the guest book, this was our first time to the New England area. Took in all the sights, sounds, shopping and great food! The locals are warm and welcoming! The Periwinkle Cottage certainly didn’t disappoint. Everything was quaint, clean and charming; well thought out and stocked. I would highly recommend!!”

“We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. It was a quick walk to the beach and quiet and peaceful at night. It's a smaller space with tight parking, but not a problem if you drive a smaller passenger vehicle and are under 6' 😉 Janet did a great job decorating the place and organizing a small area. “Can't say enough about how great this rental is. Even with bad weather it is in a beautiful location, so quiet and peaceful. The house is clean and cozy, comfy bed and nice kitchen. It has a very cool architectural mix of an asian vibe and being on a boat, minimalist but has everything you need. The hosts were so friendly and helpful with us using our coastal row boats from their dock. The tide swings greatly so just know you can't always use the dock at low tide unless you want to walk in the...

“The cottage was a perfect place for my family and I to stay while visiting New England! Chris was very easy to communicate with and gave outstanding recommendations on places to go and see. The cottage is older, with some history, just like the surrounding areas. After battling the traffic in Boston and Salem, we loved the ability to come back to our private cottage on the hill and just relax. We enjoyed the stay and area and will definitely be back again.”

“After reading all the reviews, I arrived with weighty wondering at the opportunity to clearly discover - who am I? The grateful admirers or the snooty complainers? I loved it. It felt like stepping back in time to a family property untouched by time and years, it reminded me so much of a family property I grew up going to each summer that so comfortingly stayed the same as life changed. The view of the water and wildflowers surrounding are absolutely breathtaking. Peaceful places to sit indoors...

“This place is very unique i love the small room we stayed in we were in just a standard room and it was the perfect size for the 2 of us! We stayed 2 nights never once worried about anything felt very safe and secure. The building is opened with codes provided which makes everything very smooth. Virtual check in was very easy and seemless. Parking on the other hand was a bit challenging but we found a parking garage right by the Berklee police station a block away from the hotel the fellas...
