Although the hotel is a little ways from the historical downtown, you can take the free bus (CAT) and get off at stop 11 and from there the hotel is less than a10 min walk. CAT made it very easy to get anywhere in town from the hotel. The only negative was the wifi was awful. It was constantly dropping and I had to reconnect multiple times each session. ”

“The place itself is a beautiful old building with window shutters, old dark wood details and in some rooms I think also wooden walls. The courtyard is super quaint and I spent many torrential downpours there, under cover, enjoying the tropical weather. There is no breakfast available, but there are places close by. The area itself is not special as such, BUT it is still walking distance to most things and the free CAT bus towards Armenian Street and Central 'touristy' Georgetown leaves from just...
