“The place did not look like the pictures. It was dirty when we got there. I dont think it has been deep cleaned in years. There were dead bugs on the floor and in the windows sills. Lots of cobwebs around. We had a very wobbly kitchen table and one of the dinning room chairs was broken. They had screws laying around on the window sill in the playroom as well. It's the wet season, so there were some puddles in the yard to navigate, but the lights, windows, and forest backdrop in the backyard made for a relaxing and romantic vacation. The combined kitchen/dining areas gave us plenty of space to cook meals, and we mused that this would be perfect for a group of friends. Every time we stay, we try to find a listing that will provide a new experience and feel immersive. This retro chalet fit the vibe check. It was a cool, funky, 70s cabin that felt authentic. “We had a great time with our family of 5 & 2 pups. Everything was exactly as described and the host was so responsive when I had questions about using the sauna and hot tub. The rooms were all very clean and the cookware was in great condition. We enjoyed some games and the kids loved having their own separate space in the loft. They can’t wait to go back.
