Fritidshus i Penrith

“This was a short holiday for my husband and me, and our adult children. We had cosy fires every evening and some nice meals in the dining room and the area. Plenty of walks, plenty of shops in Penrith for buying supplies. Very clean and well equipped cottage. Thoughtfully decorated. Very quiet area. We will be back I am sure.”

“Lovely comfortable cottage in an elevated position with spectacular views.”

“Couldn't fault it in anyway, very well laid out with everything you would need, really comfortable & cosy. We were staying in Daisy Cottage, Daisy the Cow was the theme throughout which made our stay even more delightful. Thank you Phil & Linda Woods for a wonderful holiday.”

“The initial "Wow" factor of the fantastic living space was spoiled by the kitchen and bathroom. The lights in the cooker hood were not working and I got greasy fingers trying to work that switch, a good clean would be in order. The towels were a bit dated and small, and a previous tenant's towel was still hanging up in the bathroom. The freezer was not working either.I noted that the cleaner had replied to some negative comments in the guestbook and felt that inappropriate. It should be mentioned in...

“We had a lovely time in this comfortable cottage. The views from the rear are spectacular especially with the trees in golden autumn colours. It is cosy and very convenient for the village and Ullswater.”

“The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out..”
