Barefoot Necessities Cozy Condo by the Sea

We have a small condo across the the street from the Beach on Okaloosa Island in Ft Walton Beach. We use this for personal use and it has the bare necessities. If you are interested in camping like a local we have some weeks open. We don’t have all the the bells and whistles. This would be vacationing on a budget” hints low price”. It’s a 4 minute walk to the beach. Also, it has a boardwalk around back that leads to the first beach access, walking distance to many restaurants, souvenir shops, putt putt, board walk and peer. Seven miles to Destin. Only one parking space and second floor steps only. Sleeps 3 comfortably but 4 with an air mattress.
If you are looking for a comfortable couch and a lot of tv’s this might not be for you.

Great Place to Sleep

The property was great for resting after a long day at beach. However no working washing machine or dryer(had to hold start button to work) created issues we didn't plan on. We will not stay here again.

Enjoyable time

Decent property for the price. Would recommend a decent size TV and maybe indoor furniture like a couch instead of patio furniture. Overall enjoyable time and Owner was very responsive and nice.

Great location, needs better furniture

Great location, great place for the money, my only complaint is that the dining room table was too small (2 person table, which would be OK, but we like to play tabletop games and the table was not big enough), and the wicker couch was small and uncomfortable.

Great Spring Break

Had a great week! Loved that the beach was so close! The only reason we left a 4 star for the accuracy of the listing is because the listing stated there was a grill. The neighbor told us the grill had been removed to make another parking space.

Adorable Getaway

Has everything you'll need for a great vacation at the beach. Owner had a welcome gift and snacks set out for us! So thoughtful. If you plan on being in the apartment all day every day of your vacation this might not be the spot for you but if you plan on having daily adventures with a nice cool clean place to come home to afterwards then I highly recommend Barefoot Necessities!

The location was right across the street to the beach. But the bed is too firm, it's a full size, the ceilings are all cracking, missing a fire alarm in the bedroom, we had to close the ac vent to every room just to get it cold in the master bedroom, construction was happening in both places next to us starting at 0700 every morning so you were awake then no matter what, the curtains are see through so the room had light the whole time from the light just outside the room, the fan looks like it's about to fall off in the master room. The place it self was not in too good condition but the location is the only reason why it was decent.

Clean Cozy and Cute

This condo was perfect for a week vacation at the beach a clean place to come home to after a day on the sand. The place was perfect for us as a couple but I would keep in mind the size of the beds. The condo was spacious mostly due to the small furniture. We enjoyed our stay very much and the price was suitable for what the condo offered. I was very pleased with everything that the condo had in stock. We didn’t run out of clean towels or toilet paper. The kitchen was accommodating for the few meals that we cooked.

Construction

We enjoyed our stay however they were doing construction next door to our condo and every there was hammering and drilling. It was hard to watch a movie or just enjoy the quiet. I think the owner should be aware of this for future and I asked for a one day refund for our inconvenience but received no response
