Sorry, No yearly rentals. The only way I could consider it is to ask for more than the total income that 1 place brings in and that is $18K or $1500/mth. Lemme know if that works? TY

This was one of the best weekend getaways we had in a while! All of the kids had a blast! The cabin was very clean and comfortable! The ac worked great! Loved, loved, loved the big back deck! Will definitely be making another trip soon!

Just Right for a great down to earth stay. Out of the busy life if you like that (we sure do!). We appreciated the time an Owner and past family who taken many steps in sharing there cabin with the public. Thus don't think it is going to be a brand new modern villa. The visitor should recognize the years this cabin has stood tall and the story's behind it, recognize the abuse the cabin goes thru, the hardship of mother nature. So overall the Owner and team has done great work in keeping the cabin in great shape. The cabin was built before lots of codes, thus be careful that the railing is not at standard height (thank goodness otherwise you won't get a view). Recognize that you are in the woods (bring bug spray) - and no problem. Thus a wonderful creek that sometimes might be swift or just right for play. a GREAT PLACE AWAY FROM THE REGULAR LIFE!

We love this place!
If you are looking for luxury accomodations, this is not for you. If you are looking for comfort and an awesome outdoor vacation with amazing views, this is it! We stay here every year for our annual krewe kayak trip. We love it! The house is old and rustic but very comfortable. It has a fully stocked kitchen. I suggest you bring extra towels and your own pillows. The creek will not disappoint!!

Fun weekend getaway
The cabin was very clean when we arrived. And not too far of a walk to the sand bar. However, there is poison ivy growing on the ground on the path to the sandbar. It was stressful trying to keep multiple toddlers running around away from it. We had a blast playing in the creek and hanging out on the porch. Local family was able to drive out and spend time us. We also went down the road to snow boogers and had a good time. The kitchen had everything needed to cook basic meals. The listing said there was a fold out couch in the living room but I don’t think it folds out. We tried to figure it out but couldn’t get it to work lol. There was a cat that hung around and let my kids pet it on the porch. It got inside and we had a hard time getting it out. It wasn’t a big deal, cats don’t bother us and my kids thought it was funny. The only thing that was kind of frustrating was that I couldn’t find a phone number to contact the host. There was no signal or WiFi and the satellite went out. We did end up figuring out how to fix it ourselves but if it had been something more important, there was no way to contact the host without driving back a ways until I had enough signal to use internet and email the host and hope they respond soon. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much! Don’t forget to pack bug spray! They are relentless in the evenings!

Perfect little get away
Throughly enjoy coming here for the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Cabin is perfect for relaxing on the deck and watching the kayaks float by on the creek. The beach is private and clean with white sand. We love it!

We had a great weekend at the house. Wish we had known that there wasnt a lot to work with as far a kitchen . (3 can openers with would not opwn a can.) And Shower doesn't have alot of water pressure. Had a lot of fun hanging out at the sand bar. Will definitely go again next year.

Perfect getaway
My family needed a quick getaway. This cabin has everything we were looking for. We loved sitting out on the upstairs deck overlooking the creek. You pretty much have your own private beach that is a one minute walk away. The kids and the dogs loved swimming in the creek. We smoked a brisket on the grill and made s’mores over a fire. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all!

Great little get away with the grandkids.
It was perfect for what we were looking for. Great little beach and cool clean creek for our grandkids to spend time in the water and sun. Clean and efficient little camp house. Because it was what we told them we were doing... Going camping in Mississippi. Loved and can't wait to go back.

Secluded and peaceful
The property was beautiful and peaceful. It is off of the beaten path. The porch overlooking Black Creek was gorgeous and just the escape needed. The beach nearby was very clean and an excellent place to hang out and kayak/float when the sun got to be too hot. John was great and very easy to contact. Check in/Check out was a breeze. The only thing I want to mention are the amount of deer flies outside. We went in the summer and this is expected. They never bit us, but they do fly around. They did not seem to bother us on the porch or on the beach. All-in-all a great experience!

Want a secluded getaway on the creek? Book it!
The description of this property is accurate. It’s a dated camp on the creek, but it has all of your basic needs. The owners have 3 rentals (no one rental can be seen by the others) that have access to a private sandbar. Bring your inner tubes or kayaks and you can set off on an adventure just steps from the camp. Bring Tiki Oil! There are 4 tiki torches on the porch. I bought and left some replacement canisters for future guests. Bugs bite. If you’ve never staying on a creek or river, bugs are common especially this time of year. Pictures could be updated on the vrbo of the property because these do not do the creek justice or the amazing deck on the front! My only complaint would be that the mattresses were terrible. I’ll definitely bring my mattress topper next trip along with my kayak!

It was as close to perfect as you can get!
We love the creek! It brought back childhood memories. The cabin was just what we wanted. The property was beautiful! You were right there close to a big, pretty sandbar. You could “bar hop” up and down the river - sandbars at every bend. The cabin was stocked with anything needed that we forgot to pack (and we brought more than we needed, the cabin was stocked with items we brought, so we had overpacked). The grill was a good, sturdy grill that cooked our food perfectly. You do need to bring extra chairs for sitting outdoors (that’s anywhere you go - we knew that and had brought ours). Any negative reviews on cleanliness, overlook! It’s a camp on the river. It’s not a Holiday Inn. We are country folks and this property was right up our alley!! Great stay!!

Unexpected to say the least
First, as soon as we checked in my wife immediately told me the cabin wasn’t cleaned up to par ( urine under toilet seat, counters still dirty). Then I go to sit on recliner and it’s broken wanting to flip over if you recline in it. So I move to the fouton/couch and it was like sitting on the ground it was so hard. Then there was our little house guest....Stuart little .... at first I thought it was a squirrel, but the second time we heard it my wife said it was inside. I turned on my phone flashlight and sure enough a tiny mouse was running around. ( got a picture of him) I know we were not in destin, but if they put a little money into this place it could really be something. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and this cabin was way worse than the other. However, I know they just went through a serious flood and are trying to get back to normal and the creek is amazing, as always. I come from the area and I don’t mind the issues, but for the money we paid it should at least be comfortable without pests. All in all, we had a good time, but if they had camper hookups I’d go back. No way I’d put my son and wife in that cabin again. If the owner could but a little money into the actual cabin and furniture this would be a 5 star vacation..... we made the best out of a bad situation. We checked out a day early because my wife didn’t want to spend another night with the mouse. A real shame!

Thank you for your stay Sir. We are addressing the need to upgrade our furniture 1 day at a time. We experienced over $15,000 worth of damage just 60 days ago. You were told about that and that there may be some issues but,. all 3 places were totally livable and progress was being made weekly.. Insurance paid for nothing and we are only able to add a few needed items at a time. The living are furniture you alluded to is next. I'm very sorry if you had a pesky rodent come visit. They made it through the ice age ear and are very hard to keep contained. We have regular pest control scheduled and adhered to and we even put out glue boards when necessary. Living in the woods and camp life often comes with unexpected visitors and I apologize for that. A kindly phone call would have been much more appropriate than to process this kind of review however, thank you for your stay! We strive for excellence and as you will see from our many other 5 star reviews! We will address this issue and be a better company for it! Thank you once again for your stay!

Fantastic little get away
My family and I stayed here for three days and it was great! The house (#3) is a perfect little river cabin. There are a few little things that may need to be fixed (cabinet knob needs screw, two electrical outlets weren’t working) but other than that it was awesome! There is plenty of room in between the cabins so privacy isn’t an issue. The owners were amazing and VERY accommodating. They answered all the questions we had and they even provide some basic toiletries. The sand bar is very nice and there is plenty of room to play and have a good time. I will DEFINITELY be back.

First, it was great. Lots of room as in the yard. Don't get thrown off that things are not up to speed on the outside property - sometimes because the water does flood the property sometimes. The owner will be right there to clean it up.

Beautiful and peaceful area.
We had a wonderful time. It was somewhat ruffing it but that is what we expected. I agree with one guest that the cabin could use some refurbishing but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the appliances are new. The outside area was beautiful and so peaceful. We sat around the campfire every night enjoying family time and for once the children were not on their electronics. The creek was very close and the dogs swam everyday. The cabins are spaced so far apart that you can’t see your neighbors so we didn’t worry about the kids and dogs bothering anyone. All in all a wonderful place to go to get back in touch with nature and your family. Our family highly recommends this cabin! I have only a few suggestion for the owners. The kitchen needs a new can opener and a baking sheet. The chair in the living room is broken and needs to be fixed before someone takes a tumble.

Tranquility at its Best!
We had a wonderful stay! The creek is phenomenal and the cabin is very private. We took a canoe with us and paddled up river for a bit and then let the creek take us back. At one point we wound up speaking to each other in a whisper, as to not break the quiet peacefulness of the creek. We have now rented Uncle Ralph's cabin and Wendel's Place. There is one other cabin here that we'll have to check out too. I plan on coming back here often and highly recommend these properties for anyone looking to get away from it all!

The following is a text that I sent to the owner on Saturday, 9/29/18, and as of today, 10/2/18 I have yet to receive a response: I have thought long and hard about whether to let you know or not, but I decided you need to know for future customers. When we arrived on Thursday, the bathroom was in dire need of cleaning. If we had not driven so far - especially with our lab, we would have turned around and gone home. Instead, we went to dollar store and purchased cleaning supplies. The toilet had ‘stuff’ on the seat, on the lid, behind lid and outside of the bowl. Also, I cleaned urine to the best of my ability on the side of water heater. Also, I scrubbed the tub and its walls. I hand mopped the bathroom floor. The faucet had some minor filth behind the faucet but we could have lived with that. After cleaning and sanitizing the entire bathroom, I swept a large amount of yellow animal hair in the living area next to curtains. We understand that others have used this house, but we expected it to be cleaned prior to our renting it. If the bathroom would have been cleaned, the floor is something we could have lived with. The bbq grill had hole in bottom so could not be used. We had brought our supplies to enjoy peace and quiet while grilling, but instead ate sandwiches that night. Friday morning, our lab enjoyed playing on the sand bar, so that was the only enjoyment we were afforded. After that, we packed and left yesterday (9/28) around noon.

Hi Myra, I'm sorry to hear that you had an issue with the cleanliness of your rental. I can assure you that my cleaning lady does exceptional work. You can go back and look at reviews to confirm that. I spoke with her after your email and she stated that she would make sure to go in and triple check in reference to the issues you stated. Of coarse, with you doing the work yourself, instead of leaving there was not much she found undone? All I can think happen is that someone went in and squatted during the week after she cleaned and she was not aware. I'm very sorry for your findings and I am more than happy to credit you back some of your rent for the inconvenience if need be? Please let me know your thoughts? Wonderful vacation get-away!
Back in June I went with my brother and his family to this same property (they stayed in Uncle Ralph's cabin). My dad cancelled at the last minute, so I invited my friend Tammy to go so I didn't have to stay in a cabin alone (same one - Wendel's Place). We both loved the tubing/floating to City Bridge so much that we had to schedule another vacation. This time I went with her family and they loved it too! Next year her husband wants to try kayaking from 49 down to the cabin, so we will probably all be back. The only thing I was concerned with was the upstairs commode. I worried about it stopping up both times. But everything else was great!

We enjoyed the river
The river was beautiful! The house could use some TLC though. The bathroom shower head sprayed the wall as much as it sprays you and the hot water knob is broken making it very hard to turn on and off. The outside bathroom was really convenient to wash off after being in the river except the drain in the floor was clogged so there was a big dirty puddle of water where the shower is. Otherwise the house was pretty comfortable.

Loved this cabin!
This was a perfect location for the relaxing, quiet retreat I was needing! The option of the other nearby cabins also would make a wonderful family vacation place, close enough to meet on the creek bank for a cook out, playing in the water with grandkids and even a covered stage area for music, but still private. Well stocked kitchen with new cookware, coffee pot, microwave, range and fridge, we had no problem stirring up meals. Pet friendly was perfect and the website was easy to navigate. The owners were very friendly and we will book here again soon!!

We had a blast at this beautiful property! My husband and 3 kids decided to unplug for the weekend and we couldn’t have picked a better place! For a relaxed kick it back vacation, this is my top pick!
This is the third trip back in the past year. Already looking at my calendar and work schedule to start planning the next trip. This trip was just my girlfriend, my pup and me, the one before, (one of the other Cabins), was my daughter, SIL, grand daughter, GF and me. The family oriented visit and the more romantic were both just fantastic. It isn't a five star hotel, but that isn't what you look for when getting away from the hustle of everyday life. It is a five star get away from it all and spend time with those you Love kind of place!

I'm happy I stumbled upon this place on accident while browsing VRBO. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were nice and comfortable. The beach area was beautiful and just steps from the house. The yard had plenty of space for my boys to play football. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic out in the country retreat
Cabin was as expected, quaint, clean and secluded. The beach area is gorgeous, my Niece took pics to prove to her friends in Miami there were white sand beaches off the coast. Plan to arrange a family gathering and rent all the units this Spring. Worth checking out, not Holiday Inn, but I didn't want room service and valet parking! Big bonus being able to bring my Dog. we thoroughly enjoyed Cabin #3. there was plenty enough space for us (2 adults) and the kids, age 4, 7, and 14. the grounds were well maintained and although it was too cold to swim and there was only about 4 fish in the creek, the younger kids fished for hours and couldn't get enough. we will definitely be visiting again, and hope to make a trip during the summer where we can enjoy the creek even more. the house had everything we needed and was well maintained as well. thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Serene & Comfortable - Well Done on the Cabin
The property itself is in a very secluded and beautiful area. Because of this, I highly recommend finding the place during daylight hours and not when it's night as it can get quite dark. Stephanie provided a good amount of planning information on what to bring and expect. Depending on the duration of your stay, really depends on what you need to bring. I was just flying in and staying for 2 days while attending a wedding - I didn't bring anything other than a small suitcase with clothes and toiletries and it was more than enough for the weekend without needing to go out. However, there is a small town up the road with a Walmart and you can get anything you need there.

Ready to relax
We stayed here for my husband and a friend's bday weekend and we absolutely loved it. Very clean and updated! We went atv riding at red creek atv park which is a 30minute drive from The cabin. There was plenty parking for 3trucks with trailors. The location of this cabin is very discreet. You have your own little beach. 6 of us fit very comfy. Will definitely return and next time we want to tube down the red creek!
