"Great location for the participating in NYC Marathon. Really close to Subway A C E and 1, which was great for getting to the ferry for the start and after the race, from Columbus Circle and down to 14th. Really friendly and helpful staff, but the place is worn down. Noisy street outside and the walls and the door were thin. But it's also close to great areas to hang out in, like Chelsea Market and West Village. "

"Excellent hôtel with an outstanding nice staff. Safe area all hours of the day so family friendly. A lot of nice restaurants to choose from in the area, all price ranges. It is close to NY University so lots of students around which gives it a great atmosphere. The hotel is close to absolutely everything. 1 hour subway to JFK and direct line to almost everywhere. The complimentary breakfast is a nice addition. I liked that it was vegetarian. Many different bagel types, some nice pastries, eggs, well everything you need to start the day in a good way The room was nice. We had 2 single beds. It is average size but very reasonable for being in this area. We could have our 2 big suitcases on the floor and still navigate in the room The staff is really amazing. Welcoming, kind and helpful. From front desk to cleaning ladies, we were always met with a smile and a kind word. I was traveling alone with my 15 years old daughter and we felt super safe all the time. If you haven’t booked your hotel yet, I really recommend you to book this one! "
