“We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Villa Flaminio which is ideally located for visiting the beautiful towns of Umbria and Tuscany. My favourite was Assissi - the frescoes in the Basilica are stunning. Also worth a visit are Montepulciano, Cortona and Abruzzo. The villa’s lovely pool area is perfect for rest days between sightseeing. This villa has spacious grounds and plenty of room inside which was great when travelling with older teenagers. Tre i huvudbyggnaden, ett i angränsande lilla hus och ett femte ligger på övervåningen i en egen liten lägenhet med separat ingång via en sidotrappa. När man bor tätt tillsammans är det viktigt att det även går att få avskildhet ibland och det erbjuder huset. Köket är stort med en rejäl köksö. “We were a large group of 16 (mostly family). This villa was perfect for us. Long hot days by the pool (which is a perfect size). Everyone had plenty of space in the many cool breezy rooms. Even though we were there in the middle of summer, it was easy to sleep without the A/C, but we had the option. The kitchen was amazing, modern and had everything we needed. “We wanted a relaxing holiday, somewhere peaceful, and this villa ticked all the boxes. Clearly furnished with love, equipped with everything you need (a coffee machine AND coffee pods!), a beautiful pool, and an amazing view over to Assisi.The owners were welcoming, and Daniela was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Assisi isn't really within walking distance, but Daniela recommended a great driver, and there are some pretty villages and towns not too far away.”
