  • Sink into your own private pool under a sunny sky - this is what vacations are made of. Enjoy a pleasant getaway in this home full of amenities, including a lovingly furnished deck perfect for sunbathing. Inside, everyone will be cool thanks to central air conditioning and ceiling fans in every bedroom. The full kitchen (featuring a prep table, a French-door refrigerator, and a nearby wet bar) is spacious enough for everyone to help cook. The private gas grill has room for your main course. A desk workspace is set in one bedroom, perfect for if someone needs to finish up remote assignments. But don't work too hard - there's a spot waiting for you out on the deck. For a special treat (or to beat the desert heat), be sure to catch the ice cream truck that comes by every day around 4pm!

Amazing Home!

Our stay was amazing and the home was so welcoming and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the pool and yard! Will definitely stay here again!

Great house.

Super cute house! Very clean and well kept. It was well stocked, except we wished there were some blankets to cuddle with while watching movies at night. Otherwise, very happy with our stay!

The house was adequate but the local management was absolutely the worst I've ever seen. We had multiple issues whiles staying in this house and we reached out to vacasa (who managed it) multiple times and they were always quick to say that they would get the local management team to contact us. Unfortunately the local management team never once contact us. This happened at least 5-6 times. The heat and AC was locked out so that we couldn't change the heat so the house was sweltering at night. The TV volume was even locked so that we couldn't change it. There was dog hair in places and the outdoor furniture needs replaced. Overall this was probably the worst VRBO that we've ever stayed in.

Amazing stay with an amazing company

We were coming to Arizona to attend a baby shower and visit with some family. Originally, we had booked a home further away from where our family was because it was just the two of us and we didn’t need that much space. We got our code and entered the immaculately cleaned home. Unfortunately, the home reeked of cigarettes. Since it was a townhome we felt like the smoke was traveling through the air conditioning ducts as nobody had rented that home recently (Arizona in the summer is hardly enjoyable, 115 degrees). We reached out to the local team and they worked diligently to find us another home. The local manager, reached out to find out the reason we were visiting and what we were looking for. He found us this beautiful home within the hour, which was 30 minutes closer to our family, had a pool, and was near our favorite coffee place (Black Rock)! Upon checking in, the house was immaculately cleaned and stocked with everything we needed. Even the towels and toilet paper were folded like we were in a 5-star hotel! I highly recommend this home and Vacasa.

Sunrise Windmill

Our family spent five nights at Sunrise Windmill. Vacasa has a great checkin process. The arrival instructions including address, WiFi and entry code were delivered via text the day before. Once we arrived at the house, we found it to be very clean and consistent with the photos. The home is nicely decorated and generally well appointed. We paid for the pool to be heated and it was the perfect temperature. Upon arrival we did have a couple of issues but Vacasa was very responsive and had them fixed within 24 hours. We had a nice stay and would stay at Sunrise Windmill again, but there are a couple of things to note before booking. As outlined upfront, the owners have several restrictions on the property. The no parties/events rule is fairly common and understandable as this home is in a family oriented neighborhood, not a resort community. The strict no “visitors” and street parking seemed excessive. Also, while it was clear from the property description that garage parking was not available at this property, there were several other areas of the home that were restricted/locked. The kitchen pantry was locked which limited food storage and the master bedroom closet was also locked which didn’t provide hanging space for clothes in the master (we used the closet space in a secondary bedroom). These things would have been more problematic for a longer stay. All-in-all a great house and trip!
