Your decision on staying should hinge on your thoughts on home security. When we arrived, we found a broken window (not cracked, but OUT) The drapes had been pulled to cover the plastic that had been taped in its place. Obviously, this offers no security and makes a mockery of the front door combination lock. This was never remedied during our 10 day stay. I have now read a mid March review that stated this was a problem during their February stay!
If you have no security concerns, the house is well located and fairly central. The neighborhood seems relatively safe and we didn’t get burgled despite the window. The house was probably cute at one point in an HGTV kind of way. I was certainly attracted by good photos. It is unfortunately tired and worn and ready for a touch up.
The pool heater worked only 5 out of the 10 days we rented. Their Pool serviceman apparently don’t work on weekends. This is fairly off putting when your business involves renting a home with a heated pool.
Management played lip service to meeting my requests until I asked for a partial refund - the equivalent of 2 days rental. Deafening silence. I have gotten VRBO involved. Please learn from my mistake, don’t rely on the host, get VRBO involved during your stay if you feel problems are not being resolved.
