Weekend get away

We enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again however, the porch needs a light by the steps so you can see when your coming in at night, there needs to be more pillows and blankets to accommodate all guest, and the cleaning could have been done better. There were tons of cobwebs in the cabin. But as stated before we would stay again.

First family vacation with in-laws

We loved our cabin. Easy and not too far out from the places we wanted to go to. We also saw a momma bear and 2 baby bears. First time my in-laws have been to Tennessee in about 35-40 years. It was also their first time staying in a cabin. So glad we picked this one and we will be back hopefully soon.

Fraudulent owner never sent address or check in info

Despite calling VRBO and spending about three hours on the phone with them, I never received an accurate location for the cabin I rented. The address on VRBO lead to a cabin that was already occupied and the cabin which I was give phone directions but no physical address to did not exist. Despite never even viewing the property I was charged for a one night "stay." This owner could very well screw you over like they did me, don't let them ruin your vacation with their fraudulent practices, book with LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE.

Great view

We used 3 filters to select this property: 2 bedrooms, gas grill, hot tub. We had 2 bedrooms, but the hot tub didn't work, gas gill didn't work. I called an hour after checking in and was told that the tub would be repaired that day and to expect a call with in the hour for the ETA of the repair tech. We waited without any response. I called back after 4 hours to be told it would be the next day. I reminded them I was charged $60 for the hot tub and so far one of those days was now gone. I called back the following morning to be informed that the tech would be there about 3:00. They did deliver knives which we asked for that were absent from the kitchen. I ask for wine glasses since there were only 2 in the kitchen for a cabin the had 4 adults. We got 8 water glasses instead. The view was great, really great. But with only two out door chairs available we had to take turns sitting. Overall, we were fairly comfortable but this rental is tired, the dinner table, deck floor, outdoor chairs, kitchen cabinets are very tired and need attention. Not up to the experience we have had with Vacsa Properties in the past.

Great getaway

It was everything promised on the advertising. Super close to lots of activities but yet still secluded enough to be a great getaway. The cabins in the resort are close together but this one being up and in the back of the resort made it feel secluded still. Our only complaint was it's hard to shoot some shots on the pool table because the cue taps the rail, window or wall and there was only one stick with a tip on it. We still had a great time as we had our own games too. I would recommend this cabin to others.

We got engaged!

We found this listing last minute, and are sure glad we did! We were able to get away from the kids and our MIL who lives with us so my fiancé could propose to me! We loved our time here, as it was close to Gatlinburg as well and we were able to enjoy both cities!

Gorgeous cabin with obstructed view

I loved almost everything about this property. It was very well taken care of, came stocked with a fair enough amount of kitchen supplies/towels/etc. My only 2 complaints were: 1) They maintain the hot tub with Bromine instead of Chlorine. I didn't even know that was a thing - but Bromine kind of smells like dirty sock water lol. 2) The view was obstructed by 2 or 3 trees. Our friends had the neighboring cabin and had a BREATHTAKING view - but ours you can kind of see through the trees to the view. For the price we paid, I would have expected a little better. Overall, still a very pleasant experience. Would probably rent again.

Great Location

Overall a pleasant experience. Checkin was supposed to be at 4:00 pm but the unit was being cleaned and we weren’t able to gain access until 5:00 pm. The living area needs another comfortable chair to accommodate 4 adults comfortably. The downstairs bedroom could use a ceiling fan and the dining room table top could be refinished. The hot tub temperature needs to be raise a couple of degrees. The location was ideal for access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Lovely cabin close to everything!

Very clean, every needed amenity was provided. Kids loved the pool table and Mrs PAC Man console. We loved sitting on the deck watching the squirrels and birds. We would recommend this to our friends!

Awesome family escape

From first impression to the details, Treehouse exceeded my family's expectations for our Christmas getaway! Had some problems with the living room fireplace, but it was quickly responded to by the Wingate help and we had it going before we had all the luggage in. Only complaint was a very lumpy and stained sofa pullout mattress. My girls could not sleep on it; it was so uncomfortable and the stain bothered them. They were able to sleep on the couch and chair pushed together and slept fine. Otherwise we loved the place- the game room- hot tub- location of the resort to Ober and the Island- would definitely recommend!!
