The Cliffside Treehouse stood up to its name. Quite literally. The view and isolation was exceptional. It met the needs of my family with 2 small children, 3&6. On the contrary, BOTH beds are upstairs in the loft and the steps are extremely steep and tall, making it a challenge for our kids to get up and down them safely. Just a heads up, the water is either supplied by well or a grey water recycling system, making the water smell and taste like sulfur. It was until I messaged the owner about the situation and the hot water tank MUST emptied by running the water for 30 minutes to alleviate the strong odor. It helped a little. The hot tub was wonderful with the exception of a pH balance, the vapors of the water really burned our eyes. Hopefully that is just a small maintenance issue. The BIG ISSUE we had was the drive there to access the property. You WILL NEED 4WD/AWD. And experience driving in pretty extreme conditions as the road has harsh grades. The road was washed out in multiple places and cause our SUV to bottom out in a few spots. Other than the few things, please don’t deter from looking into this property as truly a getaway from everyday life.
