“I decided at the last minute to get away for four days to a VERY quiet place because my sweet, calm dog is terrified of fireworks: he trembled all night. Medicine from the vet last year didn’t help much at all. We didn’t hear a single firework at the Bungalow. It’s such a unique place; so much of the history has been carefully preserved. “We immediately settled right in and relaxed. The dogs loved it too! The wood stove kept things nice and warm inside the cabin despite it being in the 30s outside. Nearby hiking and activities were great. The wolf Conservatory, Lions Tigers and Bears, Lake Cuyamaca, and Julian were all visited and thoroughly enjoyed. Great spot for a weekend getaway!”
