âThis is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

âSuper convenient place to stay when waiting for a plane that leaves later at night. The owner of the property was very welcoming and accommodated us even though we showed up on the wrong day! They have a shuttle that can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I would definitely stay again. â

âFirst of all the staff was fantastic. Very patient and accommodating. Great hotel in a great location. Quiet as well as the loud music from the disco is no more. Disco was closed and appeared permanent. Lots of nice restaurants in and around the hotel. â
âPension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge. â

âStayed for 2 nights pre-cruise. Nice and conveniently located to the port in the center of Papeete. Very clean and new, lovely bathroom and great beds, rooms are large. The pool in the hotel is quite small and there are watercycling-classes for people not staying at the hotel at least 2 times a day, but that seems to be a standard on Tahiti, it was a fact in every place we stayed in.
