“We were 2 families with kids 5 kids between 4 and 12 years old.The house is amazing, 2 floors, lots of sofas, tables, chairs and great design, full of beautiful details. Rooms are very spacious and confortable, great a/a, the pool is super fun for kids, lovely garden. “Casa Svea hit the spot! We traveled with our kids and grandkids and it was the perfect family vacation. Pool was great for the littles and the beach was so close. The house was so unique, we felt like we were in a Mexican palace/fortress. We took the main suite upstairs and couldn't hear our very noisy grandkids one level below. The local wildlife was an extra that we hadn't planned on and was a highlight of the trip. There is a family of Coati's across the street, javelina in the common spaces,...

"Was a little hesitant to book as I am not a wellness / inward centred person...just wanted a luxe hotel on a gorgeous beach! At least in off season (mid Sept), I saw little evidence of this being a targetted wellness resort. There were classes held somewhere...I never saw them. Alcohol was offered on all menus (usually without prices but presumably not included in this all inclusive resort?) The food was truly amazing and healthy, saw a bit of seafood on menu, not too much red meat. Rooms and pools and the pool bar gorgeous design. I tried to go for a walk in the jungle but this doesnt seem to go anywhere...that would have been a nice feature but otherwise I cant really fault. Would stay again ...which is rare for me, I always like to try new places."
