The only downside was the neighborhood is fairly remote from any stores to buy food or coffee. Nothing is walking distance, which was a bummer, but not a big deal. Good just to be aware of it, if you’re thinking you’re staying close to town.”

“Gary, our host, was very helpful. We appreciated the homemade zucchini bread and little touches in the apartment to make it cozy. The location of the property was perfect for visiting local historic sites and enjoying restaurants by the river. We walked to the Hudson River pedestrian bridge. We would stay there again!”

“We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. As guests in the upstairs unit, it felt awkward to hang out in the backyard,...
