    Villa Oliva, en juvel i en pittoresk stad Podgora (Makarska Riviera) ligger vid Adriatiska kusten. Detta unika läge, en uppvärmd pool med fantastisk utsikt över havet och bergen fascinera varje besökare. Dalmatiska stenhus, renoverat i en mysig och rustik mode omfamnas av lugna olivträd var man än tittar. Det ligger på en privat egendom 6000m2. Det finns inget hus nära att störa dig i ditt lugn semester.

    Villa Oliva har fyra dubbelrum med egen luftkonditionering. Tre sovrum, två badrum och ett mysigt vardagsrum med TV / SAT ligger på första våningen. På bottenvåningen finns ett rymligt vardagsrum med TV / SAT, ett vackert kök och den fjärde sovrum med ett badrum.
    Framför villan är en stor terrass med pool, utedusch, grillplats, tvättstuga och parkering. Det finns en liten ekologisk trädgård där du kan plocka några färska grönsaker.
    Trots att villan är i mitten av naturen, täcker överallt WiFi.
    Husdjur är välkomna att leka en olivodling.

    Varje del av villan har en speciell touch till det och vi är glada att få dig att känna dig som hemma!

    Dalmatien är en unik och levande del av Kroatien. Få regioner i världen med en sådan enorm kulturarv som Dalmatien kan erbjuda kristallklara havet och en fantastisk utsikt över kulturella landmärken eller bara några meters avstånd från dem. Mer än 100 mestadels steniga stränder streching för vissa 40km längs cost magnifika Makarska rivieran, vid foten av Biokovo berget. De flesta av dessa stränder är utrustade med solstolar, alla typer av vattensporter och vattenparker för barn. Naturpark Biokovo är en imponerande bergsfullmatat med liv och full av märkliga Karst formationer. Dalmatien har det mest hälsosamma och livligaste mat i Kroatien, med en touch av extra jungfruolja.

    Podgora är en vacker liten stad vid kusten i Makarska rivieran som erbjuder lugna och harmoniska semester även i mitten av sommaren. Det är en dold ess ligger i hjärtat av Dalmatien och ett utmärkt val för att verkligen utforska de viktigaste attraktionerna i regionen.

Absolutely beutiful

This beautiful property was well equipped and very comfortable for our group of 7 friends. The views were spectacular and the pool so nice to enjoy after a day seeing the sights. We hiked, tasted wine (very nice welcome bottle from Milan and Vedrana) and i couldn’t recommend this place more!and

Beautiful getaway

An absolutely beautiful villa for those who enjoy peace and tranquility with Amazing views. Very friendly helpful hosts.. facilities were amazing , everything you need was available. I would say a hire car is a must! Only a Short drive to plenty of lovely restaurants but not really walking distance. Would love to return

Superb stay at Villa Oliva

Wow! This villa is truly superb….everything is 5 star! The location is so peaceful/tranquil and the views are outstanding! Cleanliness throughout the Villa is excellent and very well equipped. And of course the amazing host Milan is at hand to settle you in and ensure you have all the information you need to make your stay the best! We loved visiting Podgora and making so many memories! I would highly recommend this Villa.

Peaceful Villa with Stunning Views

We have just returned from a lovely 2 week stay at Villa Olivia. This is the place for total peace. There are no near neighbours. The villa is as described. Milan takes enormous pride in his property and communicates well at all stages of the booking and the stay. He makes every effort to ensure you have everything you need. The villa and grounds are very clean and comfortable. It is perfectly possible to walk down to Podgora, about 30 minutes, but take the taxi number with you from the info folder. (Unless you are really fit!) There are a number of good restaurants and bars in the town. Milan will recommend. We would definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery

We spent 2 weeks at the villa and enjoyed it immensely. The pool and outside area are beautiful and we made full use of the BBQ area. The views over Podgora are stunning with some amazing sunsets. There are other villas around but privacy was never an issue. There is some road noise from the main road through Podgora but not intrusive. The AC in the villa was an absolute must for the night time. The beds are very comfortable and the villa has all the amenities you could want. Milan was a lovely host full of lots of info. We cooked with his organic olive oil and used tomatoes and herbs from the veg garden. We also loved the rose wine his friend produced and which was available at a very reasonable price. Our first holiday since Covid and we couldn’t have chosen a better location or villa.

Amazing

We are a family of four, who wanted total seclusion, privacy and luxury. Which is what we got and more. Vedrana & Milan have thought of everything in this villa, right down to lighting and a really fully equipped kitchen (including sharp knives - who has ever rented a property with decent cooking knives??) We were able to relax totally - the beds were comfy, the pool was wonderful, the villa was spotless and Vedrana and Milan ensured we had everything we needed for day trips - even arranging us a little skippered boat for the day - which we can't recommend more highly, it was a wonderful day. Podgora itself is charming, Small enough to be quiet and friendly, but large enough to have a good selection of restaurants and coffee shops. My husband hired a bike to ride to the top of the mountain and used 'Podgora Puls' bikes in the village. Fantastic service from Ante there, so do please use him if you want to hire a bike. We had a wonderful meal at Roko. I highly recommend the sharing steak platter. The olive oil factory that you drive past on the way in to Podgora is really worth a visit. We have rented many villas over the years, and Villa Oliva is definitely the best we've ever stayed in. Vedrana & Milan are hard working, thoughtful hosts, and it really shows in the quality of everything in their villa. We really hope we'll be back one day.

A wunderful villa and place with a stunning view

Villa Oliva hosted 5 grown ups and 3 three kids for a wunderful week. The house is lovely and comfortable. The kids, and the grown ups, loved the pool. The outdoor dining place had shadow all day, which made it to a meeting place. Villa Oliva is situated in a olive garden, you are all alone in this nice garden. No neighbours, you can listen to the silence and watch the stars in the night. Vedrana and Milan were very helpful, when you needed help or advice they were there on the phone. We could really recommend a stay in Villa Oliva, and we all would like to come back!

Great house with great hosts

We had a wonderful time at this very modern and beautiful house. Our hosts Vedrana and Milan were very helpful and made sure we had the best possible time, with recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. The view from the house was absolutely stunning and the pool area was great for a relaxing time. The inside were modern and newly renovated, with separate bedrooms in different sizes and a fully equipped kitchen. We highly recommend this villa!

War ein wunderbarer Urlaub mit der Familie. Ruhig gelegen und mit alles ausgestattet was man benötigt. Hatten im Mai erst ein Paar Tage Regen und waren froh um den großen Wohnbereich mit Kaminfeuer.

Sonnenuntergänge zwischen Olivenbäumen

Die Villa Oliva gehört zweifellos zu den schönsten Ferienunterkünften die wir, eine Gruppe von 6 Freunden, je gesehen haben. Da waren wir uns alle einig. Wir konnten gar nicht glauben, dass es wirklich so schön ist, wie auf den Fotos. Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar und das Haus und die Außenanlage sind durchdacht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt. Vor allem die Grillabende am Außentisch beim Sonnenuntergang werden uns lange im Gedächtnis bleiben. Auch ist das Haus wirklich gut ausgestattet (die Küche lässt nichts missen, es gibt eine Waschmaschine, ausreichend Handtücher, Klimaanlagen, Bücher für Pooltage, eine Außendusche etc.) Dem Gastgeber Milan liegt das Wohl seiner Gäste offensichtlich sehr am Herzen. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich, schnell und auch kleinere Probleme, wie eine flackernde Außenlampe oder eine benötigte Poolreinigung nach schlechterem Wetter, wurden schnell gelöst. Die wunderschöne Aussicht und die ruhige Lage geht allerdings damit einher, dass man bei dieser Unterkunft auf jeden Fall ein Auto benötigt. Mit dem Auto sind aber sowohl die Nachbarorte, Supermärkte, Strände oder der Nationalpark schnell erreicht. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und sind uns sicher, dass das nicht unser letzter Urlaub in der Villa Oliva war!

Wonderful

Our stay at Villa Oliva was particularly beautiful. The view is breathtaking, the house is furnished with a lot of love and the tranquility as well as privacy is very relaxing. Traumhafte Lage abseits der Promenade

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas abseits gelegen auf ca 170 m Höhe über Podgora. Der Ausblick von dort ist traumhaft. Das Objekt ist modern ausgestattet und verfügt über alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Die Schlafzimmer sind nicht all zu groß, da man sich aber ja meistens im Außenbereich aufhält, war das für uns nicht störend. Das Grundstück ist riesig, sodass man keinen Nachbarn erblicken kann. Aufgrund der Lage würde ich eine Anreise mit eigenem Auto empfehlen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit wenn es um Tipps und Empfehlungen vor Ort geht. Insgesamt ist das Objekt definitiv weiter zu empfehlen.

Beautiful property, views unsurpassed. My family of 5 and our parents (total 7) stayed here comfortably for a week. We came during a heat wave, but the air conditioning in the bedrooms kept them icy cold. This lovely couple were available at a moments notice for any need- making reservations for dinners, a private boat tour, and even rushing to the house to unlock a door one of my children had unintentionally locked behind them. So quaint being able to pick your own veggies for cooking. The memories of dinners on the patio watching the sunset will stay with me for ever. Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us!

Amazing villa - beautiful peaceful location

This villa is beautiful- the hosts were wonderful - they go above and beyond to help you. The grounds are gorgeous- sea and Mountain View. There is a heated pool which the kids loved. Great exploring in the local area and the Biokovo Park is only a 5 min. drive. Only 1.5 hours from Split and 1.5 hours to Mostar. Perfect for families and couples or friends - such a wonderful place with wonderful hosts!!!

Stunning, beautiful, perfect vacation home

I can't say enough good things about our week long stay at Villa Oliva. The villa is beautiful, the grounds are more lovely than the pictures and Milan and Vedrana are wonderful hosts. They walked us through the property, gave us advice on where to eat, day trip excursions and were available at any time for questions. We cherished our week of relaxing on the grounds of this beautiful home, with no neighbors close by and a beautiful view of the Adriatic. Don't look any further than this beautiful, lovely home for an amazing week in Croatia!

Beautiful home

Spent a week at Villa Oliva and couldn't be happier. The villa is meticulously kept and has everything you need. Vedrana and Milan are wonderful hosts. We arrived extremely late but they still met us - showed us the ins and outs of the house and even bought basic groceries for us. The kitchen has everything you need and you don't even need to go shopping for wine! The pool is wonderful and the views are amazing; wonderful sunsets every night. The town of Podgora is very family oriented and quiet which was wonderful. The house is also fairly centrally located to many cool day trips. Dubrovnik is a bit of a drive (over 3 hours) but very worth a day trip. Thank you for a great stay.

Amazing villa in fantastic location!

We had the pleasure of staying in Villa Oliva. It is a truly amazing villa set within olive groves, overlooking the sea. The Villa is well presented and has everything you need for a superb holiday. Vedrana and Milan are wonderful host and took time to explain all the amenities and the local area! We would highly recommended this property and would love to revisit in the future.

An excellent extremely comfortable, well equipped private villa with stunning views

We have been on villa holidays for the last 12 years and Villa Oliva is by far the best villa in which we have ever stayed. The villa has everything, is extremely quiet and private, in a stunning location with wonderful views. It is really stylishly decorated and well equipped and a lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into making it so homely and comfortable. Vedrana and Milan are excellent hosts and went above and beyond what we would normally expect to ensure that we had everything we needed and that we had a wonderful holiday.The pool is a lovely size and is well maintained and clean and sits in front of the villa which is set amongst olive groves. The town of Podgora itself is lovely with plenty of good restaurants and a few really pleasant cocktail bars. We ate out most nights on our two week stay and every meal we had was of a high standard ( our top recommendations being Roko, Nolto Bene and Konobo Klemic. ) Vedrana and Milan kindly recommended a taxi driver who we used each night to take us down into the town and bring us back and he was very reliable. We had a really wonderful holiday and hope to return to Villa Oliva and Podgora one day. We highly recommend this villa and would like to express our thanks to Vedrana and Milan for their hospitality. Fearghal, Miriam, Ellie and Luke Bergin

Beautiful villa, the owners have thought of all the small details. Suberb quality.

This is a beautiful villa - probably the best we have stayed in in over 10yrs of booking villas independently. The correspondence with the owners before we arrived was prompt & detailed so felt v straightforward. The villa itself is beautiful, newly finished with some lovely contemporary features including a bbq/smokehouse, outdoor speakers on the patio and jet current in the pool. It all feels so nicely finished & thought through it was easy to instantly relax. Its slightly higher up the mountain than we expected but the pay off was the absolutely stunning sunsets and absolute peace & quiet. Its a very quick drive down to Podgora, or there is a path which takes you straight to the beach- its pretty direct but very steep so definitely more of a hike than an amble! The pool and grounds around the villa are stunning, surrounded by olive & fig trees and secluded patios to watch the sunset. The owners were fabulous. We were told to help ourselves to the tomatoes, melons and carrots from.the vegetable garden & the figs from the trees. With a plethora of companies to choose from in Podgora harbour it was lovely to be able to text them to arrange a boat trip and skipper for us, with a recommended itinerary. I really cant recommend this villa enough - absolutely idylic in a stunning part of Croatia.
